(NFS:HS)accelerator pedal problem...

When I let off the accelerator, the car slams on the brakes. I'm sorry for being a noob but I didn't find any other topics about this. I have a thrustmaster Ferrari GT steering wheel and pedals and yes, this is on th PC. Please help me!

EDIT: Too late. Dad figured it out, You have to reset the controls, as opposed to letting the game do it on its own. Well, Thanks anyway... sorta.
