hey.  I just started running Underground again after a 2 year lay-off (rusty is putting it mildly).  I've since upgraded to an NVidia GeForce 6200 (sweet).  With the old card, I could only get 1280x1024 in the game, but still max at 1280x1024 with the new one.  I get 1600x1200 with most wanted.  Is UG limited to 1280x1024 (wife threw away the box) and if not, would a reinstall allow UG to run at 1600x1200 with the new card?

Glad to hear your new system is running well. I just built up a new gaming system myself (As did Remko, actually). I've got an eMax GeForce 7600GT and it runs nice and smooth!

I'm not sure about the limits of UG. I'll check it out when I get back home (At the girlfriends house right now) and let you know.

BTW you people made me envious already... I'm stuck with an FX5500 video card in my machine, it gets very poor framerates on newer games, and the FSAA and AF sliders in the control panel are of no use .

Heh, I was like you. I had a really old video card that would barely run MW. I decided it was time for a change, so I upgraded. Very glad I did

Well, I've got a GeForce 6200 NVidia as well, but it doesn't alow me to run Most Wanted on even half the graphics ability..... don't know why, either.
