Why do you not like carbon

NFS CARBON a game that make everyone wants to have it.This thinking is mine because i have played most nfs series not all but its mind blowing in graphics,handling,speed,cars,cop cars and all the things which the game had but for carbon i  became very upset.So i have make a list of good things about carbon and bad thing.So please my friends you also post your comment because the next NFS will not embrass us all.

GOOD THINGS
1.The handling of the game is amazing.
2.The canyon racing are really good.
3.Manycars.
4.Traffic is selfcapable to turn their cars and restricting to hit.
5.Crew members.

BAD THINGS
1.The car high speed cannot be maintained as compared to most wanted and underground 2.Its all because in carbon the long roads where car can be driven fast are less.
2.The main thing MODIFICATION.Its not good really not up to the mark.The new autosculpt feature has very less rims,front bumper,rear bumper,side skirt,hood,roof scoop,etc.All car has same front bumper rear bumper means the same parts are applying to all the cars not keeping in mind the shape of the car and the body in short its bad.
3.The carrer is to small.I wanted to drive my car lancer more but the races are over.
4.Starting cars such as mazada rx8,camaro,Alfa brera,etc when maximized to their full performance not visual look of the car they are still to slow as compared to most wanted and underground 2.In carbon they had given only last few car to be fast like gallardo,murcilaego,viper,carrera gt etc.For example if you like rx8 then you cannot drive this car for a long you have to change it.My felling is that the car should be given its performance value as most wanted atlest we can drive our favouite car to finish carrer.
5.The city is very small as compare to most wanted.
6.less rival crew races and carrer races like drift,canyon, all the races are less.
7.You cannot assign controls fully.I have a gamepad but i cannot assign its full controls.
8.The challenge series is also not good.
9.BMW M3 GTR is still not customizable.This car is fantastic that EA have modified it.But you should also give a stock car which the user can modify.
10.When you modify a car visual look.For example you are in aftermarket and you are chossing rims for the car you press 3 and watched the car for best viewing and when you back it(pressing esc) you have to chooose it from starting.This is a minor mistake by EA and it counts.

                                ALL THESE THINGS WHICH I HAVE WRITTENED IS ONLY TO MAKE THE NEXT NFS EXCELLENT.THE BAD THINGS I HAVE WRITTENED IS HURTED ME THE MOST BECAUSE I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE EA GAMES.I PURCHASE ANY GAME WHICH IS MADE BY MY BEST COMPANY ELECTRONIC ARTS.IF THIS WHOLE TOPIC IS VIEWED BY ANYEA RELATED MEMBER PLEASE TELL EA ABOUT THIS TOPIC.FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE YOU CANNOT SAY BAD FOR HIM.I ALSO FELL VERY BAD WHEN I AM POSTING TOWARDS MY FAVOURITE COMPANY.ANYWAYS SORRY.

if they seriously intended for carbon to be a continuation of mw... call it mw2 instead sheesh. oh... and saurabh... "pro street" is just a rumor and it has been denied by ea... so no one knows the actual name on the next nfs.

a multi-result career w/o a cheesy storyline. the elimination of fake rice bumpers and crap and keep cars either stock or small little front/rear/side bumper lips.

SAURABH: I actually think that having the different tiers makes it quite interesting... Since the best car, the Audi, is a "special" car, it probably won't be allowed for use in the WCG...
The REALLY interesting thing is that since there are 3 tiers, there will (probably) be at least 5 cars that have a shot at winning (since they would be racing in their own tiers)... Let's see, Tier 1 is the 240SX hands down, Tier 2 may be the '69 Charger, or Golf R32, or RX-7, or maybe the Elise. Tier 3 is either the Evo or Corvette

The M3 is not customizable probably because BMW did not give EA the right to. Notice there aren't any Ferraris in Carbon and MW? That's cos (I think) Ferrari did not want its cars associated with street racing and ricing.

Sin: When you say drifting is bad, do you mean the in-game drifting or real life drifting?

ferrari is really shutting the doors for the world recently, you cant even really buy a ferrari anymore if they dont call you.

I remembered this threat and I need to collaborate, because at this moment I think that NfsC is the worst NFS ever.
I recently went to Barcelona for 3 days, I give another  chance to NFSC since it was installed in my Home computer and wow! I pass the game in 3 days, in something like 15 hours! how can be possible? I'm pretty sure that  this game is the shorter nfs ever. I never pass from the 2 level with the cops and I defeat all the bosses  in the first try.
Also I realized that Carbon,  despite what EA says, need less minimal requirements than Most wanted,  since I was able  to play perfectly with all the highest options with my Nvidia GForce 5500  and only with 256 of RAM ( I know that it's a bit all, but works, and my brother  have the perfect computer, since  have almost the best in all the categories, but he's always playing TDU and  Oblivion) while I have problems with Most wanted...

I agree almost completely with Sinister's first post, but not only that, I think it's sad that EA has sunk to making such an excessive, glamorous, and riced out game. Yes, it apparently sells copies, but it cheapens the series as a whole. They don't need to pay Emmanuelle Vaugier for her acting, pay for licensed music, or concoct a pathetic story about rich kids recklessly racing/drifting/showing off their pimped out Lamborghinis; it adds nothing to the racing. I would not miss the story line, pretty actresses, or licensed music, if EA dropped them and focused more on the racing and the details (replays, dash views, engine sounds, engine tuning, AI etc.) as they did in older NFS games. I don't find the racing or the pointless customization to be particularly fun in Carbon and with the exception of MW, EA has been on a downhill trend since UG.....
I still have confidence EA will someday have the ability to ship a game worthy of the NFS title...

One of the main problems with games nowadays is that shifting the focus from the development of the gameplay to the creation of a storyline has bad consequences to the former, since what keeps you tied to the game isn't the enjoyment you feel when you play, but the suspense over what's coming next. I remember an arcade game called After Burner II for the Genesis (I still own my cartridge and, surprise!, it still works, as do all my old games); it had a very simple storyline but it's among the games I played with the highest requirements in respect to pure gaming skill. To enjoy it, you needed to play it, not to be hipnotised by a flashy storyline.

This applies to other memorable old games as well (Super Mario, Streets of Rage, Top Gear and Street Fighter are a few examples), and is what I miss in the market of today. Can't companies see why Counter-Strike, StarCraft and Age of Empires II are still being played by many people around the world? It's because of gameplay, not other unimportant factors! Unfortunately, the world has come to a point in which people buy stuff just because it's from a particular brand. Even Ferrari no longer represents what it did a few decades ago, but it still makes the heart of the average buyer beat faster. I'm clueless in the sense of how we're going to overcome this pathetic situation, but, as long as there's hope, there will be a possibility of change, be it as slim as it can possibly be.

And btw, they spend a lot of money to pay to useless actors (the only good one was Josie, and not for her acting ) and make special stupid effects in stupid movies with a stupid plot that they force you  to see...

@Sinnister: Those last days that I played NFSC I ignore the storyline  and  try to make mine, and it worked...I was a guy trying to impose the stock cars fashion, so I race with with stock cars against stupid kids with the  most awful cars in Palmont, and I clean all the cars from my crew from vinyls and bodykits...and at the end I win. I believe that this story is much better...
