what was the solution?... btw... my pu on xp is perfectly fine. and nice desktop you have there.

it was the shortcut - set for 'win95 compat mode' - so I unchecked that, and it works fine now :)

wow... after half a year, i was kind of expecting something less anti-climatic...
Lead me not to temptation....I can find it on my own
