well..let's say..semi 3d. :) But I am detailing the interior and stuff. As well as under body parts. Possibly a basic engine as well. I'm thinking of extending the current exhaust piping to a y-pipe and the headers

Update 11: :D

Many new things such as:

- Glass
- Lug nuts
- Tire Texture
- Tail Light Texture
- Fog/Bull Bar Lights
- 3D Headlights with glass (tho unnoticeable in ZMod)
- Fixed up front bumper cover..yet still needs more work.
- Anything else that's different..

Still to come..oh there are still plenty more:

- Skid Plate for the Bull Bar
- Drivetrain (yes the whole thing which includes the engine and it's components all the way to the - Differential)
- 3D Interior
- More mod to the front bumper cover
- Bed Floor
- Wheel wells
- Frame
- Handles
- Gas tank lid
- Weather Stripping

Mike

as I said earlier on IM, tires look great :) can't wait to drive it

Roadstar

Can't wait to sit in it.

@Dan please put a person along with the car's driver. :D He will be one of the luckiest drivers who sits in this. ;)

@RickT  I 2 don't like it red.  Dan put only in silver & red. From that I preferred red. Otherwsie I would prefer black. :eek3: :p

RiCkT

the original car is in a really ugly (soorry :/) red color...yeah well it wouldnt make too much sense posting a zmod pic with the car in black, you wont hardly see anything :/...

Update 12: Frame, leafs springs, and differential

rallymaster

Some of those things need better normals (e.g. detachments and recalculation) but I'm sure you're on top of things already.

Find me in CS Source:

Have you thought about connecting the load floor and its ribs? As this is obviously no HS project anymore, you could make your model look even better here. Anyway, you're doing a great job!

Roadstar

Thats really nice looking. Where did u model the car? ZModeler or 3ds Max?

You mean like connecting the frame to the body? Yea I was gonna make the hooks for the frame after I put on the drivetrain and such.

Zmodeler of course

and BTW..it's 21,381 polies.

RiCkT

thats ok. i'd say you should limit up at 25.000 and go tweak around a bit before you move on.

Then it is not suitable for NFS4. Maybe for NFS6 or NFS5 or NFS9 ;)

RiCkT

as i said.
NFS6 is the go!

I think I need a pic to explain what I mean... (attached) I know this will require some work and it will cost many polies, but it will look better. I did this on one of my projects and it became a lot better;)
