Sinister

the only ones who say you ruined nfscars are the ones you ruined.
you are definately infamous when it comes to nfscars with the faction., i mean between you and az, you have some of the best modelled cars for the nfs series.

and who would forget the reign of mecha anyways?, who'd want to?

well well well.... sinister is right.... LOL.... on those poepl echo, you ruined,  which got ruined by you.... you was a good mod and I still remember your help while in IMs and communicating me indirectly with the other admins...

I never wanted to see NFSCars falling down as NFSCars was the community which gave me a stand and which developed me thirst for modeling and passion of cars...

It hurts... its hurts a lot when u say or listen that NFCars is sucking but life is how you face the facts...  :((

I will say the community at NFSCars doesn't seem as enjoyable as it was when I joined two years ago...I don't feel that this is due in any part to the staff but rather just the changing times and attitudes.

To be honest I've become disenchanted with internet forums as a whole, I don't visit them nearly as much as I used to.  Real life concerns and interests are taking a significant chunk out of my time.

the thing is... i've posted way more here at nfsaddons than at nfscars... i've lost interest in w/e goes on there, but i do go occasionally to look around for something good to post in. but really hondaman, your "real life concerns and interests" should definitely be way important than nfs forums lol.

Quote from: Sinisterbeing banned and leaving are two different things. I still make my appearances at NFSCars, I'm just on a longleash, so I behave more, no more total noob bashing, but more of mecha's style of methodical owning, there's less of them, so I dont post as much..  but im amazed people actually took notice to my absence. makes me feel all warm inside (Oo)
We need someone to properly bash noobs. ;)
ho ho ho.... I was the unofficially-appointed official basher of noobs at NFSCars back in the hey-day by Sander. surely you are openly aware of this, since you claim to have been a forum browser back in 2003. nonetheless, that is what I did, and although it became relatively extreme (to the point where I actually agreed with Sander deleting my account), it had its pay-offs later.
You have more important things to do now than bashing noobs, don't you? ;) Besides, all the threads I usually read back then were in the editing projects section, which was merely a small fraction of the community's social environment... Just because I browsed the forums, doesn't mean I was an avid watcher of the events in the community. It was all about downloading some cars and having fun with the game for me.

you obviously do not recall the official Rice vs. Muscle thread! boy, that was fun. we'd drive that up to 20 pages easily. :)

you are correct though, the bashing that was devoid of any purpose (much like "mecha represents THIS, and you are NOT, so you die!") is practically gone. the only time you'll see someone's skull crushed on public display is when they do something extremely heinous and the community expects someone to take a stand against the son of a bitch -- that's the only time.

I also defend our NFS community against other communities that wish to infringe upon the cars we produce by blatantly stealing them. I haven't had to resort to that lately, fortunately. I defend my people (you are aware of this), and I defend myself. I've put an end to a lot of evil bastards in this community, and I've taken out the ones that I felt threatened the community's integrity like last week's trash. it's what I do, it's what I'm (in)famous for. some people hated it, but came to understand the meaning behind it all, and they agree with my decisions. others still hate it -- they're typically the ones on the receiving end.

I guess the difference between now and then is that now I can use provided staff authority to handle these matters, so chalk that up to the reason why I've been so kind lately. :)
