Hmm, maybe this isn't such a good idea, but looking again at those beautiful cars from the previous page with that collection, I was thinking, why not the same with Concept Cars/Rare cars? I'm curious to see what kind of these concept/rare cars you like.

Also, great work on updating the Peugeot Oxia. It looks lovely!

Butch

I have this kind of collection, but it spreads from 1952 to 2054, from the unique model to the very small series.
Gathering the photos takes time....

NFS4 from scratch:
- 43 classic cars with dashboard
- 17 concept or unique cars
- 11 cars with agentMulder, Madman_nfs and Mr.X

2054?? :)

Gathering the photos will sure take time.

2054.....I think I know which one you mean.  ;)  I'm glad you mentioned 1950's, the Lincoln Futura is one of them I love.

Surprised of no 1930's or 1940's. I thought you might like the Chrysler Airflow for example.

I am a huge fan of Philip K. Dick.

There are no surprises. Cars from this era are more difficult to model: the absence of protruding edges, the lack of data and photos... It would take me much longer. But it's clear that the 1938 Hispano Suiza Dubonnet Xenia, the 1936 Peugeot 402 N4X, the 1937 DELAGE V12 Labourdette, the 1937 Lancia Aprilia aerodinamica .... would be exciting to model, but frankly too much eccentric for NFS, even for me. Apart from PsychedelicRock, whom I salute if he's around, no one has really tackled these decades.
What I'm proposing is personal and corresponds to cars I've come across in exhibitions, museums and historic races that pass by my home. they are imprinted on my retina. That's why there are almost no American cars. They don't mean anything to me.

2054 only brings that Lexus from Minority Report to my mind  :D

You're not only living in a beautifull part of France, you also can see historic racingcars, mec chanseux ;)

About pre-war cars, Gert Steidle made some nice lowpoly racers. And I like the conversions by Freak_ds from mafia-game.

Did P.K.Dick discribe futuristic cars in his short stories?

The Montecarlo historic and sometime the Tour Auto are pleased events. Retromobile is a 3-hour TGV ride away. yes I'm lucky.
Retromobile is a 3-hour TGV ride away.

The novelette was too much short and it  didn't leave New York. No need to use cars. But Philip K. Dick writes in the same universe. Blade Runner, Total Recall, and Minority Report describe the same society where we encounter futuristic cars.

I see. Thank you for the kind response Butch. But, I will say the American concept cars are still spectatular from years back like the Chevrolet Ramarro, Pontiac Rageous, Buick Lucerne Concept, Cadillac Voyage Concept, etc...

Anyhow, looking forward to your next vehicle Butch.

This year's list is complete. Since people no longer read and write even less....

and about the unique and rare cars.

About the 33 stradale and the Xj13, they have already been created for other games, so I'm waiting to see if anyone will convert them.

Yes.. Why? We are here and we are reading. But we are just a handful of people left.  ;)
You already told us your plans for this year before and I still can't say that I am unhappy with you choices!  :) Especially the Isdera Imperator and the Ferrari 512BB are the cars I am looking for but I love every single one. I like that you keep updating your old classics, too.. like the Maserati, the Austin Healey and the 250GTO and I like that you always have a heart for the strange underdogs like the Mega Track aswell. I can't wait to try them all.

PS: If you think about unique cars like the Panther Solo I... You should consider one of my childhoods dreams aswell... the Panther 6 as six wheels are possible in NFS4 via :OLB and :ORB-parts ;)

As Cooya said, we do read and write here Butch because you bring the hype here. The projects you do are always exciting. The people here love your creations, don't forget that.

I'm....Surprised about that Lotus Esprit concept, it's a really nice car. As for the XJ13 and Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, there are 2 options. Either people find a way to reduce polys or make them from scratch. So after the Ghibli, it's the Marcos Mantis XP? Nice.
