Seems the polycarbonate canopy basically is a mobile hothouse. Wiki says the panels supply the AC and the electronic locking system (keycard).
Indeed a radical concept and quite impressive stats, especially for the time. Also I think i recognise some design features that were "borrowed" by other concept cars later on

Madman_NFS's comment about handling makes me revisit the Carp.txt file for the Proxima. I'll take this opportunity to also adjust the Oxia, which will also get an update, with additional mirrors and more visible door contours in 3D.
