Rico Bonitz a.k.a Redcap made that BTCC?

It looks low poly, haven't tried tho.

But Redcap also made some highpoly Laguna's.
And a extremely high poly Clio. Very accurate and detailed.

I remember I modified a Laguna estate police to civil version. It's somewhere in this topic I guess.

offroader_X

Hey noise,

Can you please PM me the dropbox links for these 3 cars you posted earlier:

Ford GT40 ''Holman & Moody'' MkII by Jokinen Design

Pontiac GTO '69 "The Judge" (3 upgrades) by Jokinen Design

Porsche 924 Carrera GTS (3 upgrades) by Ryuji Kainoh & Freak-DS

Thanks!

Low poly cars are better than the cars, whose poly counts go over 10k (sorry Butch).

And yes, Wayback machine is very useful for going back in time.

I see the gap with original cars, but I though some eye candy original models would bring some new players.
About the over 10k poly's cars, do they fall your FPS ?
"The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"

I'm in mourning, I saw the last Jaguar.

@offroader_X: I'll prepare them for you when I have time.

Highpoly cars can cause lags if people use graphic renderers other than DirectX. But what's even more unsatisfying: When using nGlide, it's possible the game crashes on large tracks where other renderers would work. Like Los Angeles from nfsfan83 or the initial release from Neighbourhood from Zalcus20

Not lost mod,

But anyone has working Quaife R4 GTS by Innotech? The one in NFSCars doesn't work properly. and NFS Wizard can't open .VIV file either.

Cooya!

You can find most of them in Pete's archive if you take a deeper look:
https://mega.nz/folder/AJxUFRBb#P9OH47RPraElZ7Turvek2w

But most of these cars are so old and sooooooo lowpoly and lowquality that they are hardly worth the search. Except maybe the Lamborghini Espada 400 GTE"made by Manuel Fernandez in 2000, which is still quite a nice lowpoly alternative to Butch's quality-addon. You find it as "lasp1.zip" for example ;)

noise

The Espada is ''lesp1.zip''.

That Quaife has a wrong .zip, I can't even open it.

Cooya!

Oh... yes. You are right. That was a typo.
The Quaife in Pete's archive does work if you are opening a file that is not the one from NFSCars... the one called "quaife_r4_gts.zip" for example ;)

@ LRF Modding:

Just installed the Quaife (thnx Cooya!) nfswizard was able to open the car.viv (carchecker freezed), there was fedata.fsh inside which could cause the poblem (just delete). The car worked "ín game'' also.

What's the matter with fedata.fsh files?

noise

Only that fedata must refer to a language (eng/ger/swe...) ,and not fsh cause that's a texture thing.

When i convert a car from nfs3 to 4 i always keep those original fedata.fsh files for the sake of originality. They've never made any problems for me

mikawagnerbr

I remember that at some point I had downloaded a Lister Storm GTR (it was very similar to Vlad Archer's cars).
Could it be that I dreamed or was this car only for us for a short time?
