Burnt Sienna project (TNFSSE)

hello all
about 2 weeks ago i started working to modify Redrock to look as close as possible to TNFSSE Burnt Sienna.
*this is not a conversion*
well over half the track is still untouched. don't know how much longer it will take me to modify. could be a few weeks.
anyways...just wondering if this interests anyone still playing NFS HS
should i continue?

This must be a very big project. It's not easy to build a good new track, but a remake is much harder. I hope you will bring it to a final stage.
I'm curious : How do you extract the TNFS textures ?

JimDiabolo: i just did a print screen while playing TNFSE (using DOSBox) and just went from there. i can only use very few textures due to limited viewing perspective in the game. the rest will be improvised.
and yes this is a very difficult project. hope to bring it to a final stage one day.

Some time ago I tried to make a TNFS SE -> NFS4 Converter. But I ran into some troubles, and didn't had enough time to fix it.
But I took a look into the SIMDATA\GTRACKFM\TRx_001.FAM files. They contain several fsh files. I just took a hex editor and split the TR6_001.FAM file into it's components. To give you a little help on your project here are the Burnt Sienna textures :

JimDiabolo, thanks for the textures. kinda re-inspires me to keep working on the track.
i got a 4-day weekend coming up so maybe i can get a lot done on it.

Redrock is this same style like Sienna but i think this track is too long, but fun.

G on with this project, there are all nfs1 tracks in nfs4 expansion pack except Burnt Sienna and Transtropolis, someone must make this to add to collection

Burnt Sienna track is in progress I want finish this track on days, track is perfect conversion from NFS1. Preview video soon on my YT channel.
