Now we have the Mopars..FrankNfurter did a great job making Baardk's original to better quality and creating more versions Baardk left out, That said they were still plagued by a small back window and for whatever reson FrankNFurter gave them a wrong style door mirror..He used scoop shape which was mainly on 2 door versions, I edited those to the proper disc shape, Then I edited the back window to be bigger..I wanted to get the insides a bit bigger to fit perfect too but that messed up, So I'm going with these as is, Afterall they ain't too bad now. I think we can tolerate them. 

Additionally I created a 1976 Dodge Coronet (there wasn't a good one and FrankNFurter retired before doing that one) using the 1976 Plymouth Fury (since the Coronet was what came to be the Fury)





Perhaps the easiest thing to fix was the back bumper blocks..We see FrankNFurter has them close to the center of the bumper.


But looking on the Police model Dodge Coronet and Plymouth Fury I found the bumper blocks go closer to the edges of the bumper.


So using the 1978 Dodge Monaco bumper as a guide I move them over where they go.

Now there will be several patrol vehicles made using the new updated bases but this is just to show edits done to improove things so I'll not put pics of them all, You get the idea now what was done and why. Enjoy. 

I'm so glad you're making them. They're so gorgeous. Those taillights remind me of my W201 all the time

They are in fact from a Mercedes S-Class W116

OH YEAH that makes some sense. Just gorgeous idea to use them for the Isdera's

@EvoX: Yeah they're getting more popular from time to time, i'm glad my family's been capable of owning one. Especially the 2 liter version with manual 4 gears. It's a dream to drive. Unfortunately the gearshift gate is a bit stiff to operate in the winter but it's a thing which is nowadays not too much of a problem to let it be expensively repaired due to higher and higher labor costs

You have that? I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I can't afford a Mercedes but I guess in their homeland (Germany) They'd be cheap..My Jeep was $4000.70 all together.

You have a similar issue to what I get working with hella high poly models, Where the headlights don't glow right from a distance..They look fine from certain angles BUT close up they seem to turn off.



Your issue might be easily fixed by using CarCad to move the vertices a bit out of the way of the headlights so the parts don't penetrate. Mine however is more complicated. 

Make sure anything which should be part of the :HB is actually part of the :HB, else the headlight coronas will be having problems shining through. Also make sure the vertices are transparent

Actually quite a few authors follow my trick of making grills,head,side,signal,and tail lights part of the :OC to make mods to the body easy and they don't have this light visibility problem. It has to be some visibility thing not triggering on certain models for whatever reason. Likely it's the same thing causing his Penetration and the same that causes the annoying disappearance of parts on the front and back when viewing replays.   

I mean the cars from nfscars.net. I make slight modifications to some of them.

Then the cars i modyfied for my own (like the Maserati and the Z4 Coupe on my Cliffsiderally screenshots) I try to get permissions for that cars.

The cars from my unfinished HS 2021 are still unfinished.

What has been fixed:

CAR.FCE:
- Fixed driver/head's animations and parts' axles
- Fixed position of 1 single vertice being part of the back seats which had a way off position

CARP.TXT:
- Completely remade based on original one which was really awful and values being way off

FEDATA.XXX:
- Added missing entries
- Changed from class AA to class A

DASH.FCE:
- Added simple dash based on the CAR.FCE

You should make a Polizei for the pursuit edition, They love those Station wagons.

Mega has no expiration. www.mega.nz Only limited by space, Solid Files was limitless but seems to have shutdown. Guild was great too..Could send up to 500MB on free version unlike Discord, but Guild is gone now too.

Did you try moving the wheels in CarCad, centering them in FCE Finish 2, and then centering the whole thing in FCE Centerer yet? That might fix the Celica. Or does the wheels look normal in CarCad, Fce Finish 2, ZMNodeler,ect. ?

I keep a eye on it but the reason I haven't said much is most of these aren't the cars I tinker with..I tend to stay with classic 2 or 4 door cruisers that can be made to Pursuit vehicles. There are plenty though that go for race, formula, and exotics though. I just prefer stuff I can craft to emergency vehicles. 

Ah, Dodge Dynasty..When I lived in Zeigler one of my Cousins had one..Funny thing with it..It had no brake/tail lights..So his father in law rigged up a seich and put it on the dash, When ever you'd come to a STOP sign just flip the switch, Then when you're moving again flip it back 🤣..He got pulled over and was busted driving on a suspended license one time and I had to go over to the P.D. and get his car and drive it back to his house for him so it wouldn't go to impound. Some years later I had to do this again but this he had Dodge Colt stick shift, I told the cop I can't drive a stick and he's like 🙄..I'll follow ya bud..well after much Rrrps, jumps, and stalls I got it there and the cop was like 🤣.

It handled great but as I said it had no brake/tail lights, had to activate those separate via the rigged up toggle switch which was nothing more than a household wall switch wired up to them 🤣. I miss that car, It was a deep dark Silver Blue color.

Here I show the vehicles I've tried to make a bit better over the years, All haven't been finished or even tested yet ( I blame my mild Autism cause I'm constantly bouncing around project to project) Some oldies I find I can improove on, While others it's best just to redo the whole thing using our quality bases or newer bases I find either for NFS HighStakes or NFS 3 (can convert them easily) or use models from free models sites or GTA models converted over.

Let's start with Grungy Harry and Givix's Volga 3110 Russian Militia DPS car, I showed it to a expert via FaceBook and he was like  The main thing irked him was NO GAI or DPS Patrols EVER had Militia (or now days Police) on the hood, The lightbar using gumball lights was still used in that time but it was so dated too, so I found a better one on a Ambulance on SketchFab..Other changes all described in the pics.





The improovements    . I also fixed that missing bit from the right side door post.

If Archive.Org didn't go to that BETA crap years ago you'd be able to download them from the site but about 10+ years back they rebuilt the entire site to a junky BETA that is mostly view only and no links work now, I've emailed and asked them to revert back to what was functioning but never got a response. 

It would be better to make a pursuit variant out of GatoJose's version
