Not sure if the ZPatch works correctly since I've got a crash to desktop during a race. But maybe it's not related to the patch.

I replaced the dinput8.dll file with the new one, and copied the *.asi and *.ini files from ZPatch into the "scripts" directory which already contains *.asi and *.ini files for Widerscreen Fix. Hope it will help. Thanks! I'll try and write here my results later.

Thanks. It's just a dinput8.dll file. I downloaded the NFS MW installation which already includes the Widerscreen Fix, and so the dinput8.dll. Should I replace that old file with the newer from GitHub? Or it will be better if I download the NFS MW without any addons?

Do I need to download "Ultimate-ASI-Loader.zip" or "Ultimate-ASI-Loader_x64.zip" if my Windows 10 is x64?

honestly I've already lost hope, but maybe there exists some fix/patch today or any other way to completely remove crashes to desktop in the NFS MW (2005) (Black Edition) at high wanted level, during a long chase with police, gas station explosion. It happens almost everytime in the second half of the game. It's just the only one NFS game where I like car physics. Thank you.
