Quote from: pete9516 on Jun 20, 2026,  2:55 AMThanks for being so annoying Cooya! lol

Thanks for saying 'Annoying' Pete and not 'anoying' like Cooya! and I said ; )

@Cooya!:

It's possible to be picky/anoying at the right time ;)

@Cooya!/Butch:

Wouldn't it be wise to send the W.I.P to Cooya! before release? The little flaws get noticed earlier than. And we can avoid "getting on people's nerves" like happened with the Ghibli in the comment-section of the car. I feel responsible for using the word "picky", but I do believe Cooya! has a good pair of eyes and explains clearly what he means.

12th X file car...and you're not allowed to tell us what car it will be?

Just saw Michael.H's version uploaded with your carp.txt.

Quote from: Butch on May 30, 2026,  7:20 AMI don't see the link between the two cockpits.

It's on Wikipedia:

"Inside, the car featured a luxurious interior and sourced many interior components from the Porsche 928."

I admit the layout is very different

In some building years (1991 f.e)the car had pop-up headlights (or is the system like the Jag xj220) and the periscope wasn't always there.

Just found that the interior came from a Porsche 928 (Eberhard Schulz had worked there)

So when you finished the interior Butch, save it for a Porsche 928  ;)

Besides some low poly R.Kainoh or nfs5 conversion there is no good 928 in nfs4.

Ahh..We're seeing progress :) , did you consider the periscope on the roof Butch?

Wish some HEX edit professor could take care of those issues.

Hmmm..what will be the costs when those doors get damaged.

I remember FranknFurter managed to create opening doors on BloOms Citroen SM, but that was in pursuitmode.

Driving with wingdoor open???

I was wondering....the car has no popup headlights. If you make the doors OL part, would that work?

You mean the ones uploaded on nfscars?, or is there even more.

The 'penetration' depends on what track you drive, I tried redrock and dolphin, I could hardly see it.

And in the player car menu it's not a problem is it?

WHAT A GREAT DASH!!! (sorry I got a little excited)

Quote from: Cooya! on May 01, 2026, 12:05 PMI like the new and very detailed dashboard. great work! A lot better than the original one.
And I am SOOOO looking forward to the Isdera Imperator. Finally a very nice 80s (and 90s) supercar. I am pretty sure that the early one still has Mercedes logos as Eberhard Schultz still had the permission from Mercedes to use their badges as his early CW311 car was from such a high quality. I think Butch is building the version he showed in his collection some pages ago.

@ noise: A CW311 for NFS4?!? I have never seen one and I am pretty sure that Thomas Egelkraut did none... Can it be that you mistook it with the C111 by Felixx Autobahn? If i look on Thomas' homepage via wayback machine it seems that I am right.

Where did you find one? I am curious. ;)
oops...You're right it's C111 by Felixx. (I should check first before writing, I tend to do things by memory)

After the more traditional Ghibli we go concept again.

The Imperator has a long history, based on the Mercedes cw311.

Did the conceptcar in 1978 already have an Isdera badge? The Imperator was produced from '84 till '93.

Together with T.Egelkraut's cw311 it's gonna be a nice trio.
