Many plans Butch! (Peugeot's, maserati's, De Tomaso) maybe also as your alter-ego Walter Skinner, do you take time for your growing family this Christmas? ;)

You mean the Ghibli & Bora? , nice.
#3
That was pleasant reading.

Matra is very French and not a real carcompany is it?, where Renault is a big company who thinks more globally. There were 6 cyl.Renault/Ramblers in the sixties.

This car proved there is a substitute for cubic inches, is that 2 litre turbo by Renault?

In Holland we knew the Matra Bagheera (later Talbot Murena) sold by Simca dealers. And that Matra/Simca Rancho which became famous in a TV program (Bassie & Adriaan)

Are there more production-cars build by Matra?

Looks good, it's also the opposite of a Facel Vega ;), and by 1986 American cars got downsized too.Renault sold his 9 and 11 as AMC Alliance/Encore. Did Matra ever sold cars in the USA?

255ch, is that top speed or horsepower (cheval vapeur=cv isn't it?)

The pic's show how Simca struggled with his direction. The Bagheera was innovative, while the Simca/Chrysler 2 litre in the background was the opposite.

Never heard about U engines, thnx it's interesting.

Most common layouts are line, V and boxer but there are much more variations. Lancia (when will we see a Fulvia in nfs4?) used a V4 which is different from the V4 by ford.

Great video of Matra in GTR game b.t.w

Matra's with P numbers maybe useable or practible (p16/17 what became Renault Espace) but the one that interests me more is the Matra Djet, although it has funny proportions.

And isn't a Matra Bagheera or Panhard cd fun and original?

But I look forward to this p29, I didn't know anything about it, maybe I learn to appreciate it. I keep imagining it with wings and see it replace the plane in hometown ;)

Bitter (cd👍), Jensen (interceptor👍)....not available yet for nfs4, they deserve a place don't they?

I actually hate requesting....

I remember reading about a bandleader who said: "we are so good, we can play anything" Suddenly people started requesting songs whichs he didn't like at all. The bandleader quickly regretted saying that.

Could have been the guy in the center of my profile pic.

The meaner nose, great job. It looks like there's some water in the spotlights (probably a graphical glitch). Are those rims new again?

Resizing snowflakes now sounds like peanuts.

But when it comes to eye for details you surpass Butch ;)

Thnx Butch, nice post.

You must have spent quite a few minutes behind the keyboard too to make that list of people. I was touched when I saw Will's name.

Ahh..the Aston Martin V8 with the single headlights. I remember when I started reading car-magazines back in '85/'86 that was the only Aston Martin availible (as Vantage and Volante, and that odd wedgeshaped lagonda) I loved the classic lines, not realizing it was actually a very old design and Aston Martin had financial problems.

Love the dash again and thankfull you still put time and energy in making them.

I still have warm memories driving your Bizzarrini Strada (dash view) on Thunder Mountain (15+ years ago)

Right hand drive dash, correct choice but I don't feel comfortable in it. Especially when there's no steering wheel.(or is it on the left ;) )

That's Justin Martin's.

His 911 Carrera rs (based on the 911s) can be found here:
