Off-Topic Discussion / 4X4 EVO
Jun 25, 2007, 11:56 PM
Those were the days.... 4x4 Evo was where I got my 3D modeling start....
Made alot of friends....
It's a shame that game is all but forgotten now...
I used to be known as NovaSS.

KC's site used to be great... I think you can still download stuff, but only like 5 trucks a day... and can also buy Truck Collection CDs off that site...

There used to be tons of sites for that game
4x4garage.com   GONE
Darkness Kustoms.... Destroyed
Well actually there is a site with some really cool shit just for 4x4 Evo and Evo2

http://www.geocities.com/supermotoxl/
SupermotoXL has some amazing work... but most of his work is cars, he does have some kick ass trucks, like the red and white Maxxis F-150.. have to get that one... but if I remember right, I had to tamper with the handling on that truck because he made its steering turn like uncontrolably fast... I think he did that to match the handling of how a real RC radio truck... Give him a shot.

Racing & Other Sports / Your First Car.

Man....

I Don't even remember what year this thing was, but my first car was a Sky Blue Suzuki Samari... For as old as it was, it was like new... painted the brake calipers and drums blue, had red/silver pinstrips, two subwoofers, and a blue "Aint Skeert" decal on the windsheild.... I didn't keep it real long though... It was a gift from mommy and daddy, and they told me, as long as grades were good, I get to keep it... Didnt take em surious... They sold it right after my next report card.... Yeah kinda sucked.

My 2nd car is my Pride and Joy. I inharited my uncle's 1975 Chevrolet Nova SS that sat in a garage for 15 years without any care.... Now its like new... I'll always have this car.

Then my mom gave me her Purple 1996 Olds Acheva SC after blowing up the engine, and buying a Black 2001 Monte Carlo SS... I blew up the 2nd engine in the Olds a year after I got it...

Then a year ago, I traded off my old POS Olds for my Subaru Baja...

After buying a Subby, I'm hooked... I'll always own a Subaru for as long as I'll live.

My Everyday Drive is a 2004 Subaru Baja Sport.

It's the perfect car for Nature Lovin' Campers like myself...  Heavy Duty Suspension for just about any rough road and trail, treat it like a truck, and it will feel like a truck. It's a blast to offroad in, trailblazing, or just splashing around in the mud, so yes, It sees plenty of Nature.... And good milage means you can take a good trip and make it back home on the same tank of gas. The Bed makes it easy for Camping stuff like your tent and shit.

My Weekend Wonderer is a 1975 Chevrolet Nova SS Pro Street

This car is my pride and joy. Over 500 horses and around 550 ft lbs of torque, it aint going to pass the gas station like most cars out there, but milage is no issue. Powered by a 454 that took two years to build, and a racing TurboHydro 400 Transmission pushing the power into a set of 4:11.1 gears through a narrowed Ford 9" ... No Pavement is safe from Chucky... Tuners hide from becoming his next meal.
