Title is pretty much self explanatory, this is one of the bonus cars from the Playstation version of High Stakes. I was unable to get the original model from the game but did get some textures (that I ended up not using). I decided to give it more 3D details and some higher quality head/tail lights. So don't expect a 100% accurate model, I'm a real rookie when it comes to 3D. :P
Wheels are from Mazda Miata MX5, side mirrors from Ferrari F360 Modena (both by Viper Jay 5).
The model itself is pretty much done. If you have feedback, feel free to post them. :)

Did the adjustments and added a maple leaf logo (it looks like the PS1 model have one). Does it look better now?
oooooh this is awesome 8)
That looks pretty cool! Amazing work, DrSpeed! :D

Logo and car looks great. Comparing your PS1 picture and your Zmodeler shot i still think the bumper's middle section (center) could be more rounded. Also the bumper looks thicker (when viewed from top) at the PS1 screen.
If you can't see what i mean, just leave it as is :) It looks good, great remake.
damn that's pretty cool. I've always wanted to see this (and the Titan) in the PC version.
Thank you all for the kind words! :)
Had a closer look on the model, it does indeed have a rounded bumper, so that's adjusted more. I also shortened the model so the interior is not as long.
The horn and engine sounds are almost done, it'll not sound exactly the same as the PS1 version, but it'll be unique at least.
Alright, I've been fine tuning it some more and are almost complete. Here is a test version, so you can take a closer look on the model, performance and the texture (and do changes if it's necessary).
If all bodes well, I think it's ready to be released very soon. ;)
Do we have to compile a car.viv? The download contains car.fce, carp.txt, car00.tga and fedata.eng
Sure thing, here it is.
o.k. now. The car and his color combinations is something else but not my taste.I think it needs bigger rear wheels. The back reminds of a Bugatti EB110 b.t.w.
Good job bringing it to the game anyway.
Looks way better than the default PC bonus car (El Nino/La Nina) imo. With these martial fin/antenna on the roof the Phantom always reminded of the "Eagle" from the first Carmageddon game.
The wheels are accurately modeled according to the original template from the PS1...
Normals and damage model look very good.
Good job on recreating this car! :)
I think you can release her.
I think I'm about done with the car, I've attached screenshots of the final look. :)

I think I'll replace La Niña with Phantom honestly, just gonna need to make a pursuit version of it as well (which I'll do when this car is released). :police:
Here's a fun fact: the PS1 sound files refers Phantom as a Honda.
Hi Looks Nice an big like to no worries, :D Dr.Speed this kinda re-minds me of that NFSIII Car of that one Jaguar? forgot it's name o well. XJ-15 or something? I never seen the PS-1 How Fast does it go,like it don't matter that much. Just was able to comment here was all. 8)
The car is now in the approval queue.Released! :)

How Fast does it go
It goes between 180-190 MPH, I couldn't observe if it goes any faster than that on PS1. I do know it's a tad slower than the McLaren F1 GTR, according to the stats.
Sorry late reply, thanks for that good info, I still haven't check out the ride but, I will on Monday, Ugh Mondays.. Hehe Cya Dr.Speed great name BTW :) 8)
How about a pursuit version? :police:
The number of dummies did exceed, so I had to remove the 3 lights at the roof (+ the license plate). But personally, like the 3 red and blue sirens which takes its place.
Hi I wanted to re-post about this cool cop car. Yes great idea on the 3 lights, above for the Sirens to use up. Dr.Speed
Will you be having any more paint schemes, for the pursuit car? I know there not easy to make. I never made a Complete car.00.Tga file tried to edit them long ago. so did you scratch make your light bar, looks more V shaped nice tho. All is good, have a well Saturday bud sure.
Yes, the light bar was made from scratch.
Here's the alternative skins:
Nice police liveries, especially the US version! Surely will make a nice replacement for the ElNino cop.
I agree at,with Madman sure looks like a Big Beast >:D 8) nice skins, Dr.Speed.
So, how about an upgrade? :)

Now that's a sharp one! See a lot of polishing done here. Any plans for Pursuit and Titan aswell?
Yes, they will also be updated. :)
More real, the doorlines gives you a feeling of having access to the car. Fantasy cars come from other planets, where they don't open hoods, doors or trunks I'm afraid.
I say the Phantom is Canadian, I mean the logo is literally a maple leaf (and also made by EA Canada). Or it could just be a massive coincidence... :o
So, I realized that I forgot to add door handles. I also took some artistic liberties to add a rear grille pattern instead of just black boring color. Still experimenting with it.
