a break point has been reached (oX800000003) occured in appilication lalalaala. WHY lol anyone know thanks.
WELL I FOUND OUT A WAY U GOT TO DISABLE ERROR SERVICE. BUT NO I GET MEMORY ERRORS WHEN PLAYING WITH CUSTOM CARS. LIKE I GOT A AN ERROR ON A CAR WITH 5100 POLOY COUNT WTF. ANYONE KNOWS WHY IM GETTING MEMORY ERRORS .
do you mean errors like this: render getm ram out of ran?
I got a problem as well:
I installed the high-poly patch, and I must say, the graphics have greatly improved! Especially the car windows, they are now clear and I can see the driver.
So I played around with it, including the cars I had just downloaded. Then I went to career mode, and bought myself a '69 Charger R/T 440, the link is below. anyway, when in the single race "car select" screen and showroom screen, the car looked fine. But when I clicked "purchase", the game crashed. As in the screen just went black. mad
So I Alt-F4'd the game (like how I did before I downloaded the high-poly patch) to bring me to the desktop. And here's the main point: when I restarted the game, the screen became black and stayed like that. frown( What's wrong? dunno (normally it would turn black and the the "Electronic Arts" logo would come on)

Uh-oh! :mad: I tried that car and I cannot load a race correctly. It brings me back to the desktop automatically. I tried taking the car out of the Cars folder, but when I reload the game, it would again take me back to the desktop (no matter which car I choose) when I load a race. I have the high-poly patch too and this is the first problem I ever had with HS.
OK. I think I fixed my problem now that I completely deleted the car from my computer.
I've deleted it as well, but I still cant play HS. I cant even admire my cars in the quick race menu :mad::mad::mad:
Did you install the 4.5 patch?
eh?:ugh:
All the previously d/loaded cars before this worked perfectly fine, except those with the serial number conflicts (which I can't be bothered to change). Or rahter, they didnt screw up the game
Usual reasons for crashing:
- Serial number conflict. However, it seems to crash only when there are many cars with the same serial... I ran four cars with #49 at the same time without any issues other than their identification after the race;
- Serial numbers not between 1 and 49. You can still view them in the menu, but they will crash the game during loading time, because the game wasn't programmed to choose cars with serial numbers above 49, and #0 is reserved for traffic cars. Be sure to check both the FEDATA and the CARP serials;
- The added amount of polies in the race broke the limit of NFS4's 3D render. Doesn't seem to be the case here, though, since that car is low-poly;
- Cars with custom sounds not supported by D3D/EAX. In this case, set your sound mode to Stereo or Mono;
- Cars with custom opponent sound may crash the game. To fix this, open the CAR.VIV file in NFSWizard and delete the OCARENG.BNK file, so that the game chooses a generic sound for the opponent cars;
- Cars with convertible option turned on, but without an OT part. In this case, open NFS Wizard and, in the FEDATA, turn convertible option off;
- Cars set as upgradable in the FEDATA even though they don't have the files for the upgrades. As a remedy, turn off upgrades in NFS Wizard;
- NFS4 hates you. :P
Anyways, you can't go wrong with the above measures... This is all I know about NFS4's crashes, other than those random ones which result from corrupted files.
I checked the default serial number of that car and it said 50. But it still used to give me problems when I changed it so Car Freak's problem probably isn't a serial number conflict.
The thing is, is that when I played other cars with serial number conflicts (like the MG ZS race car), the game crashes only during the "loading race" screen. When that happens, I just press START on the keyboard, right click the window on the taskbar, and press close. After abt 5 sec, it goes back to the desktop, and I can restart the game. Now, the whole damn thing won't even start.
This is REALLY getting on my nerves:mad::mad::mad:
If you haven't already, download and install the 4.5 patch and perhaps the serial number editor. I don't know if this problem can be fixed if these don't help you.
@car Freak: this is major issue is that ur game is not even executing.... well.. this happens when some system file being shared by the game, modified or changed or moved or deleted.... i dunno which file is that but it is surely not in the nfs directory...its some file in windows directory which results in non-execution of game...the remedey of this is that dont delete the game, simply re-install or repair the wnidow, run reg-edit for nfshs and play the game.
may be this looks totally riddicullus but i never found any other way home. sometime it so happens that ur monitor driver (if ur monitor doesnt synchronize) is corrupted or something resulting the monitor not to change resolution, also make the game un-executable. goto device manager by ryt clicking on my computer icon on desktop and remove the monitor driver. dont reinstall it. reboot and window will automatically find the driver. run the game.
