Title: Review: Mac OSX 10.5.2 Leopard ~Hackintosh
Post by: ToyotaWish on May 07, 2008, 7:05 AM
Just a short little review after installing OSX on my Intel PC.

Works fine, apps run without a hitch. Slightly laggy though, due to my single-core processor and crappy graphics card. However, Spotlight and Adium are a joy to use!

Drivers wise, it does need some fine tuning for your non-Mac compatible hardware. I took 3 days just to find a suitable driver for my audiocard. :eek3:

My specs:

Intel Pentium 4 2.93Ghz
2x Kingston 1GB DDR-667 400Mhz
80GB Seagate Barracuda
ATi Radeon X300SE 128MB (working)
LG GSA-4160B DVD Super MultiDrive (working)
Acer Aspire 6-in-1 Media Reader (working)
Realtek ALC880 HD Audio (working)
Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter (working with Ralink RT2500 drivers)

Some screenies:

iTunes works!
