Title: Will the Patriots go undefeated?
Post by: Lotec on Dec 23, 2007, 5:57 PM
Today the Patriots beat the Dolphins, now they are 15-0, and are 1 game away from finishing the regular season without a loss.

I think as long as Brady is throwing it to Moss, Welker and Jabar Gaffney this team will not lose.  The Giants did beat them in the preseason but since they've clinched a playoff spot I think they'll sit their starters and watch the Patriots make history.

I'd figure the giants would put up a bigger fight in the 4th quarter than they did. Especially the last 4 minutes or so when they only needed a field goal to tie and possibly sending the game into OT.

Anyway I think that the Pats will either go and follow the '72 dolphins and win the super bowl or we may see deja vu and see the pats and colts in the AFC title game.

And we are 16-0!!! Of course we'll win the super bowl, too. And Brady and Moss have their own records, now, too. It's a great day for this stupid game that we Americans are obsessed with.

Brady broke the record for most TD passes in a season and Moss broke the record for most TD catches in a season.  Both of them came into the game 1 TD of shy of there records, and then in the 1st quarter Brady threw a TD to Moss and they tied them, and then in the 4th quarter they scored on a 65 yard touchdown pass which broke both of the records, which with the 2-point conversion tied the game.
