Title: Stupid Program Problems...
Post by: -Aka-NFSWiLL on Oct 28, 2007, 4:34 PM
Hi Im talking about the FSH TooL

I want say it wont work on my Pc anymore :eek3: i cant understand why?
When i try to open any NFS4hs Track Tr0.Qfs it wont work at all
what i do is try and choose the FSH.Tool when it asks me what Program i want to use, to open that File, what happens is after i Browse, Directly on FSH.Tool and select it,it wont show up at all inside the Box of programs to use :ugh:
It just shows NFS Wizard,my T3 Editor, others. of course not, fsh tool is not there?. Even if i choose it to check mark as open only, this file it still wont show up,so i cant open any Tr0.qfs file at all now. Its a Pain.

well im not going to ReInstall Windows.. eek, just for that buggy FSH.Tool. So does anyone know what else would work to get it open for another new project i would like to make better.
I just think umm, XJ220 is the only person i can think of that might know what to do. But it just wont Select or Find fsh tool, inside the Browse box it wont show up on all files,or Programs in the List Bah. :/

I had that happen to me once as well. The next time I had my laptop re-imaged though, it seemed to work fine.

I guess you could always try running it from the command line.... I think the readme has info on what arguments it expects.

lol
No i dont think your dumb for this.... I spent at least 30 minutes learning how to do this (I'm not old enough to have used DOS enough, lol)

first go to Start -> Run -> "cmd"
type chdir X:\Directory\where X:\Directory\ is where FSHTool is.
type fshtool "X:\Directory\file.qfs"where X:\Directory\file.qfs is the QFS file you want to unpack. To put the QFS files back together, do the last step again, but just pointing to the fsh file inside the folder that has the BMP's.

Hope that helps!

Im Very Greatfull for this ok i couldnt even find this Info and i Looked earlyer today on read.me
This Code:
chdir X:\Directory you spoke of UMM, ok means Command directory?
also so X stands for what the file name or folder name i have the Tr0.Qfs at then Pal?
Ive had a Long day so far..I wished you could keep helping me with like you have NO One would say 6 years ago see :{
I should make the Directory easyer for my self like just putting the file on desktop maybe would be better. THX so much for your Help Unbtable that was funny, about the dos thing. that im not good at,if you can teach me more, feel free to do it cause i need to learn more. ;)

X:\directory

X refers to the Drive letter, (ex:-- C:\fshtool\text.qfs)
