So it's basically a tuned 5-series... the guy is just trying  to make it look M5...

Pfft... he messed it up already just putting //M on the back rather than //M5.

no M badge on the gills...

this bodykit is actually quite common here, the only difference being that there is only 1 set of exhausts...

This guy sure put in a lot of effort tho, gotta give him that! :bigthumb:

the exhaust gives it away.

and..are you paying for a 2.0 4 cylinder?  I don't know much about the W's options over there...but if a 4 cyl is in that car, should be really underpowered.  nobody will buy it...especially when you can get the real deal for less.

EVERYBODY here buys the smallest engine... 520i, E200, S280, Ford Focus 1.6, 320i, Camry 2.0, normal Cayenne, Toyota Wish 1.8 :p... you name it, it's probably got a small engine... And all because of our road tax system, which is based on engine capacity

Did you know that Singapore probably has the youngest car population in the world? Our F*cking COE system sees to that. it's a cert which allows you to keep your car for 10 years, and when that is up you either scrap your car, or buy a new COE. most people choose the former, though there are some who buy a new 5yr COE and sell the car secondhand. But our used car market really is the pits, cos nobody sells their car... Which means it looks like it's gonna be VERY hard to find a Fiat Coupe for a first or second car... :(

Blast you. :D Anyway, CF's right. Horrible market for 2ndhand cars >10yrs old.

I see it as I pull up to a BMW Group they think it's an M car, and you pop the hood, they count 4 pistons, and look at the instrument panel and don't see any M Badges - they will roll the car over.  Plus, you would be paying more for an immitation than it would be to buy the real deal - this guy is an ass!  mail my quote to him if you wish :)

lol..... in Romania (I live in Italy , but I'm from Romania , and its in east Europe) 10% of the cars are newere than 5 years , and 25 % have like 30 YEARS , LOL ! and most engines are 1,2 - 1,4
so Romania has the oldest car population in the world ?!

Faking a Civic Si wouldn't be too difficult. Just need badges, spoiler, rims... and the engine doesn't matter since they're fairly similar.

heeeeyyyyy that's actually not too bad!!!

Did you know there was another conversion on Top Gear? A previous gen MR2 was made to look (very closely) like a Ferrari 355... That was REALLY nice...

Can you link me to that CF?

err, forgotten the link, but it was one of the earlier ones... anyway, it wasn't a feature, just a few lines about it in the studio, saying it was for sale cos the owner didn't want a Ferrari lawsuit or something... :p

More like... the owner saw a little too much potential in his car HAHA
