No company in racing genere can mess with EA.Last month a game is launched Test Drive Unlimited by Atari i purchased this game but when i installed this rubbish game then i realized that i have wasted my money.This foolish game has a poor graphic engine a poor story and a fucked cops seriously this game is a signature of stupdity produced by the stupid company Atari.The handling of the cars is worst of all the games i have played.Only one thing i liked is the city its big really big.So if i had to rate this game out of 10 then my rating would be just 1.So the moral of the topic is that dont ever think of purchasing games of racing without checking the logo of EA.In racing games EA is the best of all.

ok, i agree about the cops and such, but the rest of TDU isnt that bad, at least its has more cars.
O Yes the cars are good and ofcourse the bikes also.But when the handling of car and bike is not good then the game is useless to me.The graphics is really the worst.

Well I have TDU, and I think it's great...
ok, you might have a point about the handling and the cops, but seriously, i think it's better than Carbon... The cars sound better, there's more to choose from, and in this game, you get more of a sense of the cars being "yours", because you get to personalize your cars from the showroom. And you can't rice the cars in the game.
This game isn't meant to have a story, it's just about driving, and maybe the graphics sucks because you have a lousy com which can't keep up with TDU's high specifications...
Get a better com, and a gamepad, and maybe you'll have your opinion of this game changed
Oh, and out of 10, i rate it 9. Carbon got 7.5 from me... i know Sin probably rates Carbon like a 2 or something...
hey now, i didnt rate carbon that low,.. just the ricing ability of it..
the gameplay was decent overall, just too short. AI on rails, and Ricer Opponents.
I gave it a 7 because it does have the Charger.
Car freak my computer configuration is
Athlon 4600+ 64x2
1.5gb of ram
and the main thing 7600gt graphic card
i dont have a gampad.
Car freak i dont think this configuration cant keep up with the game.

Maybe it's your graphic options? Can't remember the specs of my com, but my dad bought it from the WCG last year...
i set the graphics fairly high and it usually runs about 15 to 25 FPS
OMG! I have been playing all these days to TDU (this is the reason because I'm not in the Forums :) ) and I can't believe what I read!
So you thing that the handling in TDU sucks, don't you? Well, maybe is because despite of the handling of nfs, tdu handling is realistic. Have you tried to race without help? Is almost impossible...and my brother achieved the Hard mode and it's almost impossible to drive because of the reality. In NFS the the handling is too easy...I mean the car response is too unreal. Btw...Do you drive?
About the graphic engine...you must have some problem with your graphic car or something, because I play with an X1950 Pro, and I must admit that this game have the best graphic engine that I have seen in all the racing games. At least you don't have all this stupid things that you have in Carbon, like those weird lines that left your car (a failed attempt to achieve a velocity sensation), while (wghuile, like Meg used to say ":p" ) TDU have a radial velocity that give you an amazing sensation. And...C'mon, you cannot compare the light effects from carbon with the HDR from TDU.
About the gameplay...do you know how many cars have TDU? and who wants a stupid plot with a stupid argument like in Carbon when what we really want is just to race? Imo, there's no need of plot in a racing game...
I only agree with you about the cops...maybe are to weak but for my is just more real, but Have you been fined? Shit....3 days after I started playing I got 3 cars, the mustang, the TT and the Vantage, and only something like 100,000 dollars, and after a quick chase by the police I paid like 50,000. Nfs fines are so unreal (again)...
So, to sum up...if you want a ricing game to destroy the beauty of stock cars then play Carbon, but if you enjoy driving, just a real driving, then play TDU.

I tried the TDU beta on my PC, and it ran fine if a bit glitchy at moments.
That PC's specs:
Athlon 64 4000+/FX-53, 2.61ghz
1gb PC3200
Radeon X1600PRO 512mb(AGP).
I'm currently upgrading since that comp kinda, uh, blew up, so now I'll be able to run it much better!
And yeah, it's harder...that's because it's a simulation and NFS is arcade. If you tried TDU with a wheel, you'd love it.
tdu is great expect like most people says the handling also when the ai cars wants to brake and block you when starting a race and when they touch when racing you fly like crazy,but aleast thanks to rallly from nfs cars i got rid of the traffic which made it easier

er, yeah... But the cop chases in Most Wanted are MUCH better than Carbon anyway...
i think pci graphics cards perform better graphically than an agp graphics card i think. may be a factor that's stopping you from a good experience... i don't have it personally... just a suggestion ^^ i want to get it... but don't want to spend money on a game that won't work with full graphics on my computer.
