No, I'm not talking about James Bond's cars... I'm talking about sleeper cars, those which stupid people in riced-up Civics try to take on at the lights and have their butts handed back to them on a silver platter.
So, which 3 do you think hide their sporting pretensions the best (i.e. look the most like their lesser siblings)
My 3:
1. VW Passat W8
(http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2002/10/15/149053.1-lg.jpg)
2. E36 BMW M3 4dr
(http://www.chaosreigns.com/m3/bmw_m31.jpg)
3. previous Audi S8 (or any previous gen Audi "S" for that matter)

To be honest I liked to see the M3 but the photo is disappeared:p
Umm... Can I choose the RS4 Avant?
At first I just thought it's every officially optimized sedan and wagon like BMW Ms, Mercedes AMGs and Audi (R)S. But I don't think it's limited to those, since an S500 would already kick every Civic's ass while being a "lesser sibling". So I'd include more or less every luxury sedan, even those without mods.
er, you do know you're supposed to post the three you think are least "shouty"...
Awww... S8 Avant then. Killer stationwagon. Heh heh heh.
I'd pick the Passat. I just like VW's. Who's for a Jetta with a huge twin-turbocharged V6?
to tell you the truth... the civic is pretty swift since it's light and it's stock. it accelerates pretty fast and smoothly too. i mean you're not going to drive 100kmh in the city... so i think the civic is pretty fast but doesn't look like it. like my dad was driving the civic when it was new and just to test out the acceleration... he got up to 80 kmh in 2nd gear at around 5000rpm in about 3 secs. but just what i think from my experience. but for something other than a civic... a nissan altima or maxima... when we were test driving cars before the civic... unbelievable power. for a stock car, unbelievable acceleration and speed.
He floored it while it was still in the run-in period?!? :eek3:

Actually i'd like a 2.0T Passat... :D
no, you guys are missing the point... You're supposed to nominate your 3, not pick from my 3...
Alamak! Hmmn...
1. Audi RS4 Avant (hehheheh.)
2. Volkswagen Passat 2.0T/1.8T
3. Toyota Caldina GT4 (260BHP from a 2.0T wagon... :D)

I'm gonna psyche my dad to get one.

Hmm... Not exactly the most discreet, but if that's what you think...

As you posted 4 (:p) pics, I thought you were referring to the brands or something like the style of the cars. But now you just want three sleepers even if they belong to the lesser siblings you mentioned in your first post?
Then these
could be my top 3:
Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG (looks absolutely stock and too heavy to me):
(http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/83/g55vz0.th.jpg) (http://img50.imageshack.us/my.php?image=g55vz0.jpg)
The previously mentioned S 500 which is stock and heavy:
(http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/8608/s500vm6.th.jpg) (http://img50.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s500vm6.jpg)
And the Ford Mondeo ST 220 Turnier. A wagon and IMO not looking like it has got 226 HP:

Hah. The Caldina has 260. :D:D:D
the Vauxhall Vectra VXR has 276bhp through the front wheels! But then it's not much of a sleeper

Doesn't count, it's a van :p ;)

The Mondeo has got FWD as well. But as you mention a Vauxhall, the Type C Opel Vectra OPC has got 280 HP with FWD :D
Chevy Cobalt SS (205 hp supercharged)
2005 Audi A8 L W12 (450 hp/428 ft/lbs of torque)
BMW M5

No it's not. :D
Quote from: WikipediaThe original Toyota Caldina is the 5-door wagon...
The current model is a 260BHP 5-door WAGON. :D:D:D Hah. :p
Crap - lol - IMO its proportions make it look like a van but if if they call it a wagon... is there a sedan?
caldina?... some european or asian model i'm guessing. used to have an '93 audi 90s... it has quite a bit off power under the hood. 175 horses w/o sport mode on. lol sport mode just adds a bit more power to the engine. don't know how... don't know why they added it. but the car doesn't look very powerful but it is... my dad went 160 kmh with it on 100kmh highway on a trip passing 5 semis
Toyota Caldina.
JDM TC Wagon. :D:D:D
