this error occurs when i am connected to internet via dialup... and it just started happen... and after this error, my connection fails and i have to restart my computer
Erm... Dialup? :D I guess it's some virus or something. System specs please.
Hey same here. I posted it on techenclave.com but still no one replied. I think try reinstalling windows. I did that & now no error. I also know that if we run NFS games,no sound comes.
well searched it ang got the solution...
This error comes only in SP2. the file associated with it is scvhost.exe or svchost.ddl i think... well whatever.. its svchost file which performs the management operation in the windows... either it gets corrupt and start give the error...
I got this error after i changed the registry of system (regedit) and added a key AlwaysUnloadDll
i removed that key, switched firewall on and all is fine
so you use xp but with the classic theme? i've gotten that error before... but everyone went well with me once i got a fresh copy of xp pro.
i recovered the error by putting a new copy of svchost and scanning registry... actually i dont use NTFS for XP, but FAT32 alongwith windows 98SE ... i i use windows98 as a security platform when xp gets corrupted.. once my winlogon.exe got viral... and antivirus couldnt repair or delete it... so i scanned it using 98 and haha... i got it
