tried in a few compat mode options, but still - no luck...I've installed it just to play with that new e46 M3 GTR...

Porsche Unleashed is buggy as hell on XP machines (my HUD has two tachometers :P ). It's a pity since it's a good game which will be forgotten when everyone starts editing for NFSMW.

I never had a problem with Porsche Unleashed on my XP.  I must be one of the lucky ones. :)

I had it on my old machine, running xp - never a problem, until I ran out of space, had to uninstall - didn't require compat mode either...porsche.icd is in the main NFSPU folder.

That's weird since I have the game as porsche.exe.

"Porsche.exe" is the executable and isn't the same file which is giving BMWSport that error.

srsly?
it works fine with my xp.

the game is from 2000, so winxp wasn't out at that time.
if the box doesn't mention xp it doesn't mean it can't run on it.

There is really something wrong with your comp if it can't run NFSPU.

it was the shortcut - set for 'win95 compat mode' - so I unchecked that, and it works fine now :)
