I think they'll look good also...maybe take a pic of your truck from the side and then copy the wheels on, just for a preview

Post by: monkey.wesley on Mar 08, 2007, 6:49 PM
oh hehe... i thought it was just an internet pic, but i'm not exactly a fan of modifying pickups. but those rims will look great on a truck. but not on a car.
Title: Rims
Post by: Sinister on Mar 08, 2007, 7:29 PM
so modifying a car is fine, but giving a truck clean asthetics is wrong?  and you call yourself canadian WTF.

They look like heavy rims, remind me of the steelies of police cruisers. Should make your Ram look a lot more massive!

ok... first of all... don't target my nationality. i never said modifying a truck is wrong. alright?! i'm not a fan of modifying trucks... it's ok to do it... but not my taste ok? i don't even have a car right now... i don't even have a license. do whatever you want with your truck... you wanted comments? i gave you some comments... and it was not intending to offend you in any way. please understand that. i really don't want to start any fight or anything ok? thanks.

Post by: Sinister on Mar 09, 2007, 6:24 PM
well, good, and your nationality is mine as well.

also, ricing a truck is putting a 12" lift on with 22" wheels, ugly as fuck.

anyways, i was thinking that since you live in winterpeg, that you'd know why we have trucks up here, 4x4 are the only vehicle that can get around in Canada, cars have a hard time in vancouver let alone up here.

i am not a fan of oversized rims. plus I bought the tires before the rims, and they do not need to be replaced yet. they're maybe 1500kms old at the most.

sry rick... didn't mean to offend you. i just find the shape of the car really difficult and the blueprints don't line up when i'm modelling the car. it's really tough, but i guess i won't give up! ^^ i'll try to do it all the way. alright?

Post by: RiCkT on Mar 12, 2007, 7:56 PM
lol.

a mesh? ok you need to learn alot :/
the word "mesh" discribles your model. see how its made out of a kind of triangle spiderweb?
there you go, thats a mesh :)

ok here we go...this is really old thoo, wesley..it was ment to be released before the original car came out, but i never finished it, so the sides are kinda flat and the overall mesh sucks...ive learned alot since then.

Title: Rims
Post by: monkey.wesley on Mar 12, 2007, 8:34 PM
wow... i need to do that?! *faint* wow... i really need to learn a lot more. and yes... the shape of that xlr doesn't look exactly like the shape the bp calls for... but that looks pretty smooth... almost cartoonist like clay animations ^^ so basically... when i'm modelling in zmodeler... i'm creating a mesh? btw... if you would rather discuss this in the xlr thread... that would be appreciated.
Title: Rims
Post by: RiCkT on Mar 12, 2007, 9:06 PM
nfsaddons is kinda known for thread mixups, i dont think its too bad :p

its actually a so called "clay render", speaking of this :)

yes you are building up a mesh...well actually you give zmod points for where to place a mesh on, and on this it will place a surface.

what are you trying to say? ricy rims are cool? and you can't assume that sin is a ricer because you think his rims are ricy... honestly... if you're playing mw with exotics and tuning them with bodykits and stuff... the exotics have the most riciest kits compared to other cars. so... please... keep the comments to a either good or bad and stop the "ur a ricer" comments.

when you're old enough to make your own trips... do so. Canada is one country that you cannot enjoy just looking at pictures of.. you need to actually see and feel the mountains aind the breeze it gives you.. .. during the winter you dont want to be anywhere in the territories.
