Title: NFS Porsche 2000

Do the downloadable cars for Porsche 2k replace the existing cars? E.g the Shelby Daytona Coupe here:

http://nfsaddons.com/nfspu/cars/Shelby/1223/

If they do, then what about the official downloadable cars like the 959 and 928?

No they do not replace the existing cars. You have to use file editor to add them. Just open your NFS5 A/c in it & add the new car. Thats it. But the addons will only work on that profile. It will not work on new profiles.

File editor?  I used to have this game and if I get it again, I would like to know how to add cars.  Could you please explain the process of adding cars to NFS 5.  It would be appreciated.

Open your svaegame(profile) in fileeditor which is in Savedata. In the Own car's  sections, click new. Type the name of the car in long name & short name columns & in the textures, type the name of the file indicated by the .tpg & to the driving properties, the name of the sim. Click OK & save. It works. A new car appears without replacing the original. :D But remember only that profile will feature that car. Other profiles will not. For adding that in them, follow the same steps. Thats why when you download a car for NFS5, you will find their profile ;)
