After 21 years, Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) finally has Arabic text.
I spent around 10 months working on the game's old font system and dealing with RTL text, limited font atlases, broken characters, disappearing text, and several failed attempts.
The biggest challenge wasn't translating the game — it was making the 2005 engine actually render Arabic correctly.
Eventually, I found a way to redirect the game's requested text to my own Arabic font/text data.
