What I am really looking for is add-on music for need for speed on the pc. the original music gets a little old. Is there a way to add music or to convert wma, wav or mp3's to the format in the game and then add them?
Only way to do it is to have a media player (http://foobar2000.org/) that doesn't use memory running in the background while playing NFS.
TS:
Seems like a great player
I'm looking for a program to convert bnk files creating enginesounds, hmm, heard about a program called something like "Goldwave" do you know about this program or any other that will do the same thing? and I've tryed coolEdit but was never able to creat a new bnk file just some minor changes in the existing file
Well if you know anything about easy to use programs for this purpose.....:-)
Regards

Thanks for the idea, I might just do that.
Yes, you could have WMP, WinAmp, whatever in the background, it works fine.
Can you still get winamp? Are there new versions? I thought they went under?

You could use NFSWizard to open the .bnk files and export them as .wav files so you can edit them. You can also take .wav files and import them into the .bnk file as well.
TS: :) Thanx, will try it,you mean I could import for example a real V8 sound,in wav format and get it to work with horn and stuff? Well,if that works I would not need a soundeditor,CoolEdit is a bit advanced for me caused by my bad english.
Thanx again
Regards
TS: Hmm tryed to export a .bnk to .wav but all I see is *all files as the option do I have to open it in hex editor first??
Regards
No, what you do is you open the .bnk files in NFSWizard and export the samples files within the .bnk files as .wavs.
thanks for the ideas about the music TS and JRice80. i'll get winamp later.
TS:
Sorry for my late reply, have not been around for a couple of days.

TS: again I'm late, sorry:) well I've found out that Cool Edit IS the best to use:)
And now I have another stupid question, what version of NFSWizard do you use? cause mine don't have that option:) it's v0.7

I used V5.07.9
TS: I have to get that one and test it:) Thanx
