I've done some browsing around and its not outside the realm of possibility that I'm just blind, but I'm coming up empty handed when looking to find the original NFS:HS cars released as DLC by Electronic Arts. I'd really like to get those downloaded if anyone happens to know where I can come across them.

Well I kept looking and as is tradition I found the thing I was looking for right after I made a post asking for help about it. I haven't actually opened these archives yet but I'm taking at face value that these are the goods. I finally stumbled across them thanks to Reddit.

I don't know what happens when you execute those applications without having the game installed, but when you have the game installed, then the applications will place the car.viv's inside the SaveData\Cars folder
Yes since that last post I got around to getting them installed. They are as advertised and they made it into my game with no issue.
