Well guys. We need to talk. We eather shut down the site or keep it running. We need some donation to keep it running. It looks like nfs cars has been hit with a vires and has lost almost everything. Sad day. :( Thy my not be coming back. We are paying for Vires protection to keep the site safe. That why we pay so much. If you would like to keep the site running for another year please let me know. If you can spear 5 10 20 Buck to keep it running. Then we will keep a nfs site still running or just shut it down for good. Thanks

You can also try to speak to Mike to see if he can at least host the files at Police HQ in NFSAddons if keeping Police HQ running is ultimately untenable

It's looking like I'm not going to get a house just yet, So I might be able to pitch in, I got a reassurance from the Police they won't just kick me out before I find a new place.
As for NFS Cars..If Archive.org would get off their ass and fix their glitch with the archive thing not working right people could use that to recover it.

Well do the links work? Alot of times all they do is load up the page but anything you try download links on says not found.

It's a complete archive of the site someone compiled with a script, you can download the whole thing (160+ gb) or you can browse for individual files clicking on "Show All Files" > "view contents" that's right next to the .zip file of the site
The resin the site is so expensive is we have the top of the line vires software and we don't have ads popping up on our pages. The ads are a pain in the butt. We have been going strong for 5 years with no attacks. NFS cars have been hit several times with vires/ cyber attack and see what has happen. Same for a lot of other nfs cars site and most have just shut down after that. We try to make share our stuff is safe. That why we ask for people to donate to keep the site running. It for vires software and no ads on the site. Heck if I could put ad on the site I would but we end up with a problem with goggle and thy kick use out of doing ads on our site. So now we pay. Thanks for understanding. I hope we can keep this site running.

I will donate, but seriously, for such a small website you shouldn't pay so much for a virus protection and the reason nfscars.net is offline is that the MasterAdmin doesn't pay his provider most probably and just doesn't give a fuck
EDIT: I'd be fine with ads if they pay the server costs, as long as they're no popup ads like on automobile-catalog.com for example, or here when you browse through the cars, a small advertisement inbetween the car selection is absolutely fine. It's about those extremely annoying ads which you have to click away to actually be able to use the website
It a crappy company I am using thy where yahoo then now thy are turbify. Thy are a joke. I need to use 3 passwords to just get into there site and thy are all India people. Thy have locked all my stuff so thy can't be moved to a new host. Thy did a stupid update that shut down the site for a week because of a Dum coding problem. Every time something happen thy tell me it the webmaster problem. I can't get ahold of the webmaster. It nice to keep it running. But I have looked for host and thy have told me it would be $200 to move it and then it would be $150 a year. That was go daddy. But every where else told me the site could not be moved. It to old. It need to be rebuilt. I am not rebuilding the site. Turbify came out the cheeps so I said screw it and I will stay with them. Every year we made it with donation and the site is still running. I hate to ask for help but the site keep running thanks to the people that donate.

Who is the site owner? I thought that was you. I've offered to cover whatever donations don't for the rest of the year, so let me know when the time to renew comes up. I'm certain it could be migrated over to this server as well, will just need a bit of updating but nothing I haven't done before

Sorry you see the Bandwidth Limit Exceeded on the site. For some reason thy are say I used 100gb of Bandwidth. That bull carp. I have never had this problem before. I have talked to a Supervisor to get this figured out.
I have good news we are now free. Thank to Mike he is hosting use now. We are still nfspolicehq and or domain name is the same. The site will live on. Thanks to Mike for getting use on his server.

Great news! Although I am not really that much in the "Police cars game"... We don't want to lose any more precious NFS sites!
Just to let you know we are still active with updates with cars. We will also be adding our bases to the civi section so you will be able to use them soon. There is a lot of stuff more to come now that we will be around. Thanks to Mike supporting use now. We are here to stay. :)
