heres the new project from me... yeah I know... i have already a lot of projects pending.. but what can i do.. i get bored of the car when it comes to interior..hehe.. heres the new one. well, charger is 50% complete. S8 is ready to upload. Audi 100 is halted because of some poblem. Civic got the same jam.
i know there are bumps on car.. the fender shape is not as it s supposed to be....that gap behind fender is lowered which is to be raised up an widened a bit.

ewwwww... The regular M5 looked ugly enough, but this... I hate that lower grille
That should be wire mesh. :D

not bad, but fix those bumps.
Not a fan of the E60, but the model looks good, very few bumps and it's absolutely not finished yet. Good :bigthumb:
Hmmn... Power^Steer|nG, is the car done? (:
the car is on hold right now.. trying to complete an even more old project, the Dodge Charger R/T 2006. after it, M5.
and nice to see your maniac showing sign pic .. hehe
Hahah! Thanks for the car anyways. (:

I'd have sex with this car, were it a woman instead of a fine piece of machinery. :D It looks good so far.
I'm REALLY looking forward to playing with this (as I don't like Chris' version very much...). If you're aiming for more detail, please try keeping the polycount around 11,000, which would be perfect for NFS4 and other games.
Power^Steer|nG, that is such a smooth m5! wow... you really gotta teach me with my xlr! i think you have already, but how do you get it that smooth? wow.
Oohh! That's nice! Maybe you could make a lowpoly and highpoly version? Mine's NFS:HP2. (: Oh yes! Cld you make the AC rims in the pic too? Thanks! (:
the AC Rims in the PIC? i dont see any anywhere? well... if u have pic gimme or i will search them.. btw I am making rims and spokes are done (stock one)
The pic with the AC kit. Anyway I'll repost it. (:
This one:

@toyota: these rims are sexy and no doubt will fit on car.. but for now i have made these rims...if u like them... and these AC rims? will be used while making it a lil bit lowpoly... :)
heres a little more .. actually a lot of update..hehe
did tyres, front grill, side mirrors (this time almost perfect stock) a nd polycount has reached 11500.. actually tyres took a lot... 1280 polies/tyre...well whatever... I will also upload one of its comparitively lowpoly version (upto 10,000 polies).. this version will move upto 14000 I think...
please have a look

the M4 rims are deep dished. not flat. man you should really get more ressource pics.
theyre REALLY deep.
Oh dear. RiCkT's right. The wheels are deep dished. Anyway, which version of NFS is the M5 for? But good work so far. Thanks! :)
Looking good so far! I hope this car will make an appearance for NFS3.
I hope it's for HP2. :D (That's NFS6, isn't it?)
Yep, it is.
Quote from: ToyotaWishOh dear. RiCkT's right. The wheels are deep dished. Anyway, which version of NFS is the M5 for? But good work so far. Thanks! :)
yeah sorry, i am a nitpicker :)
speaking of wich, nitpicking...as in helping people with their meshes and stuff, is like the only reason i am here :bigthumb:.
Haha. You help make cars look better tho. :)
Power^Steer|nG, since the rims are messed up, could you make the AC Schnitzer ones? :D Many thanks again. (:

How about an upgrade with the AC Schnitzer kit? Chris' car had an upgrade as well.
Isn't this car with the AC Schnitzer kits now? If this is a total redo with AC kits and AC rims, it's gonna look bloody nice! :D
Quote from: ToyotaWishIsn't this car with the AC Schnitzer kits now? If this is a total redo with AC kits and AC rims, it's gonna look bloody nice! :D
I'm pretty sure he's going for a stock M5, otherwise he wouldn't have made the original rims. Besides, the grille on the model's bumper is different from the AC Schnitzer's car's one.
IMO Power^Steer|nG should make a regular M5 before thinking about modeling tuned 5ers. M Power all the way. :D
Hmmn. Then maybe just change the rims to the AC ones then... :)
Quote from: ZpectreIMO Power^Steer|nG should make a regular M5 before thinking about modeling tuned 5ers.
right, exactly my thoughts, he should model the original car first and then think about tuning.
@RickT: First of all thnx a lot for correcting me..:bigthumb: and the image as well..
@Toyotawish; Zpectre; RickT: Well you are all right, i must go for stock one first and then make the tuned one... Actually I like to tune visually but u know that its a messing of mind..but again I do...specially my own thinking in tuning simply suck.. (that 7 series) .. actually guys I dont know even a basic rule about customization and making correct dynamics :( .. though I know that how air passes through intakes and leaves through vents... .but i dont know how to place and make angle properly...so that it look real...just making holes and putting stuff over it doesnt make any sense. IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY ARTICLE ON THIS... PLEASE LET ME HAVE IT.. I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL TO YOU. ohhhh. i am gone far..hehe
well.... idea is very good... i can remake it with AC kits and rims as welll.. .but again.... .wheres the kit image? :S (actually i am bad in searching images...and it even depend what do u want)
Zpectre is very good bimmer modeler and he can help me out on bimmers... .I hope... will you Zpectre?
ok.... heres the normalized car.. altered the rims and made it a little deep (i hope it works) and deepened the front grill silver boder and moved the grill bars a little inside (as shown in the RickT's provided image)

Hehhehheh. ACS M5. :D Can't wait for the M5 to be released. (: Is it for NFS6?
UPDATE AC KITS
see it guys..... not that perfect but still good enough to be recognized that what is it?? hehe...
(http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/9624/bmwacbk2.th.jpg) (http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bmwacbk2.jpg)
450 polies/ wheel.... LOL ... stock wheel was 1200/wheel
those ac kits are looking good... except the front grille is lookin a little wide. i'm guessing you know that the rear isn't looking exactly the same, but i can't criticize people too harshly for sthg that i'm not even good at.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU! :D
Oh. Hold on. Brake discs and calipers. As big as possible. :D:D:D
@monkey: you are right.. but the way it is modeled cant be edited because i will have to remodel the whole damn bumper... so i am sorry for that :(
@toyota: LOL... you are in love with me? :eek3:
but for this BMW "i'am Lovin it"

Yessssss.... I LOVE YOU! :D Don't bother about the front grille... Looks good enough. (:
Hell yeah!!! That is one sweet ride. Please tell me it will be made available for NFS3?????? Please!!!!
final image
Stock: 14K polies
AC Kits: 12K polies.
(http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/769/bmwtw8.th.jpg) (http://img294.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bmwtw8.jpg)
Oooohhhhh!! Pretty! Can't believe the car with the AC kit has a lesser polycount. :D But heck, even if it's 35k polies i'll still download it. (:
actually these were the wheels in stock version which took a lot of polies... 1200polies/wheel and AC version has got 450polies/wheel...hehe
I will be submitting it in 2 days for NFS4.. NFS6
I dont do conversions for NFS 3.. so anyone interested can do it and publish it with credits accordingly.
Ooh yes! NFS6! :)
Quote from: Power^Steer|nG@monkey: you are right.. but the way it is modeled cant be edited because i will have to remodel the whole damn bumper... so i am sorry for that :(
lol... no need to say sorry at all... as long as ToyotaWish is happy with his request, everything is fine. and really, your modelling is very well done.
well.. a little bit of renders before uploadin.. :D

If i might say something, I think there's too much rear bumper, if you know what i mean...
This is looking very pretty. Can't wait!
yes... i t is a little tall from top-down...
Mmmmmm... Is the car done? :D
its absolutely done and i was having problems with my VGA last night and just bought a new one.
Okies! Thanks! :)
Quote from: Car FreakIf i might say something, I think there's too much rear bumper, if you know what i mean...
well. it would probably be too hard to fix... since shortening the rear bumper would probably mean modifying the rest of the car. but looks really good in the renders... except were the headlights meant to be that dark?
Well... Tinted maybe? If so i'd get the car in white.
a little bit too tinted in that case, i need to max my brightness to see some headlights appear.
well.... this is lighting which shadowed the headlight interior making it too dark...
Thanks for the car. :) However, I've only got NFS6 (HP2) and above, so I can't play with it. Is it possible for you to convert the M5 (and your new sexy Alfa GT :D) to HP2 for me please? Thanks a million. :)
actually theres a little busy messing with life so m5 is getting late... alpha hp2 will be converted after the updates. so to make an even more quality
take your time P^S. it would be better to take time to make some really nice quality cars instead of rushing.
sorry to burst ur bubble now power...but, We owns a BMW M5...and the front grille is too tall, and not wide enough, the headlights are orange on top, the headlight reach down more, the rear window turn, need to be lower, the windscreen is too tall, and at to acut an angle, rear bumper needs to be shorter, and... I can't think of anything else right now. Sorry I had to tell u this. U should take more time on the details of the car, and work on one car at a time. If u want, u can try making a M6 coupe. Ill be looking out for that if u decide to do that. And, if u do, can u convert it to NFS 9?
YOU OWN AN M5?!? :eek3::eek3::eek3: Pictures!!! Pretty please... :p:D
jtoule8-
1-there is already a very good M6 made by dingsign
2-please take a pic of your m5 with some legit proof that it is your car
Sry bout my mis type, we know someone who owna an M5. It's my sister's HIgh school friend. ( if your wondering how a teen got an M5, there are other teens who have an M6 convert, a cayman S, Bently GT, aPorsche cayenne S, V12 7-series
PS...ifg u want to know where we live to be sooo wealthy, chesk out the top 10 places to live in the country!
and jerryrice, where is the M6? is it 4 NFS 9?
No its for NFS4
arrey wha!! Tera renders to salle asli lagta hain yaar!!!good job on the M5 man!!
arrey wha!! Tera renders to salle asli lagta hain yaar!!!
Translation: wow, your renders look real .. dude!!! :D
heheh... not that real...hehe
its the textures, put some HDRI into that render and it would look real.

speaking of wich, do you like olive oil?
- Rick.
Umm Rick? How'd you do these 3D renders? Not the types for NFS, but just images in 3D. Would like to know how to do that.
probs his 3dsmax lol... rick is the master of 3dsmax
ok, so heres some theory:
there is a difference between 3d Render modelling and 3D Game modelling (lets call it like that) games work real time, you move around and stuff, thus it doesnt support too many details (in this case: polygons), 3ds renders are still images or movies (considering in the new transformers movie a single frame needed 35 hours to render) where the amount of polygons can be endless, as you dont need to use it in real time.
thus for, my late meshes (mesh = a web of lines, connected in trinagles or quadratics, wich connect so called "Vertexes" wich are points that give the YXZ positions for the model.) , at example the charger are render models, as i am trying to find my way into the CG movie scene, and move away from game modelling.
and yes, wesley is right, i am using a pretty big case full of plugins and scripts made for 3ds max to make my renders/models look/appear and be good :)
most of those are only part of my setup because of my job thoo.
- Rick.
wow... so you actually get to work with 3dsmax for your JOB?!... wow... that's so cool. i wouldn't mind... except i would rather keep in shape... no offence... other than sitting at a computer all day. i have a volunteering job at a daycare-thing atm.
well i am working semi freelance.
i am going to art school, kinda fulltime.
- Rick.

around a dozen.

Oh. Where can I find 'em? Or rather, a good tutorial?
