i race in indy on the drag strip and on the streets...
does anyone else race their cars on the streets?
i found that life is not like these games at all.. you have to beat alot of people to even get enough respect from anyone...(it sucks)

I used to race my Camaro here in San Diego. The street racing got shut down recently though, due to police enforcing it. There was a team dedicated to just finding the racers and breaking it up. There are still small pockets of racers that go out though, but only 4 or 5 cars, not the hundreds to thousands we used to get.
Don't race my new truck obviously, as it won't beat anything :p
A team dedicating to stopping street racing, where have I heard THAT before... ;) :)
Sgt. Cross ring a bell? :)
here the police will go after you but they can only charge you for speeding or reckless driving because there are nostrict laws as of today of street racing being illegal
Have u ever been caught or chased by the cops?
I don't even drive a car! Of course, because I'm 12 :P . But I would really like to :). With a Ferrari or Lamborghini that is ;) . I really don't like these tuners and Japanese imports and what people do to them (ricing).
ive been followed for miles.. but never given a ticket or anything
total times busted: 0

Then you must also be an expert in MW ;) .
Do I street race? You could say that....
Almost always win.
I don't know if you want too count it as street racing though, due too the lack of cars....
I don't street race (I'm only 14!) but you could say that my dad's friend does. I remember once when he took me for a ride in his BMW. For some reason there was no traffic that day. Anyhow, he pushed on the gas pedal and we were cruisin at 130 mph! He can never get busted as long as he has his badge with him since he works for the FBI.
here is pakistan theres no kind of illegal street race because cop cars n trucks are much more powered than the racers.. :d
well we do have kind of organized races on old airport. I race with corolla. these are mostly drag races. guys dont use NOS because a goddamn 1.6 litre 4 cylinder engine cant bear the force :D.
unfortunately we dont have porsches, ferraris etc etc here because 1. the roads are not so good so that such cars can run all over pakistan..though some cities have real racing type roads but... mostl poeple cant bear the expenses of such epensive cars. thirdly, they are not officially imported in Pakistan. what we have here is BMW, Mercedes, Chevrolets, Suzuki, Honda, Toyota, Citoren, Land Rover, Daihatsu, Porsche (just opened for sale..so not much right now)
so poor me :D
Hell no. I'm not into endangering innocent lives for my own cheap thrill.
Keep it on a track, people.

.
I did...disregard the first scene where it says first race.

oh and mike...street racing in SD? youre ok? - that was like really harsh going down there!
i used to race or be around when races happened, but i dont even drive right now :)
When I had my Porsche, I used to race with friends.
yeah and when you had your porsche, i still had my own car...right now i am stuck with this (http://www.nfsg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=1371#p1371) :/

i really have a hard time believing that you race in the indy.,
1. - anyone who races real life, has a real life and etc so they wouldnt be hanging out on a racing game forum.
2. Drag strip, yeah ok, plausible, as anyone can go to a dragstrip at open races.
3. Streets, Sure please Run yourself into a Concrete meridan, Telephone pole, or a tanker full of propane, and just have your body engulphed in flames.
@wwilson- You. Noob. Shut the fuck up.
...why do i have to think of kracka again?
Come to think of it, last year my uncle once took me for a spin in his sister-in-law's husbands' car.
it was a white Alfa 146 2.0 T-spark, and my god did it sound good. he took it easy through town, but once he got out, well he started weaving in and out of traffic etc... Thankfully, there weren't too many cars around at that time. Right now, looking back on the incident, I do feel that it was quite dangerous. but back then, it was so much fun! At one point, I saw about 6000RPM on the tach, in 4th gear, not too sure how fast it was, but I'm guessing slightly over 160kph. This in a place where most people don't even see the other side of 110kph...
if anyone here would be so kind as to work out the gear ratios for the Alfa and tell me what speed it was doing, that would be much appreciated
iceroads aren't exactly supposed to be driven on at 130kph.
My car is a speed demon. My car always wins on the highways. No one overtakes my car.:D But we dont actually street race. But :)I consider it as a race.
i remember when my dad still had a license and one of his Opel Omega's (wich is a fucking fast german sedan/wagon...we had 4 of them over the 1990's), he always took everyone on the autobahn, he left the whole fucking traffic behind him :) with top speed in the wagon lol.
i remember i never drove one of them, it was way before my time of having a license :/
i think we sold the last one in 1999.
those things just rock, i wish i had one, they look good, and their interior is awesome, the whole car is great, except that all 4 had problems with a lose rear suspension.
oh, well and my grandfather has a rarely driven, around 10 years old vectra sport standing around in his garage, that thing is nice too, but the omega will forever be the coolest car ive ever seen "street race"
okok...except for the Ferarri of that chick's dad in the local street racing scene :p
heres like how it looked (stolen from the internet thoo...i dont know if we have actual pics of it anywhere), we had 3 normal ones and 1 diamond edition, the diamond and one normal was dark red (somewhat metallic), and 2 of the normal ones were like silver something.

the diamond was a wagon thoo, it once direct hit a vw golf II, wich was totalled after that, but the omega still drove and looked just like a bit shorter and broken :p <<-- I KNOW we got a picture of that!
ill search some when i get the time.
sad you weren't able to drive them., but the autobahn, man that would be a rush in any fast car.
those opels do look semi decent for a sedan though.
its actually the predecissor of the predecissor of the Cadillac CTS:
This here being the Omega A, the Omega B was type identically to the Cadillac Catera, wich was the predecisor of the CTS
the omega B is the base for the Holden Monaro, Commodore and co. too, at least wikipedia said so... - wow wouldnt that make the GTO a german car? lol.
translate it or something
side note:
the omega A got voted "car of the year 1987", it had the best suspension of its class, and a really high output for low gas, it had between 82 and 204 HP. i dont really remember our specs thoo :/
