I finally can play The Need For Speed Special Edition nice on dosbox but how to unlock Lost Vegas track?
I know I must win Tournament to unlock Vegas and Warrior, but is it any faster way? edit config or something?

You're the guy who ported those tracks to NFSHS :o That was pretty cool I have to try them out =D
By the way have you tried googling if you can get them by cheats. I recall in NFS II you can unlock the Indigo by typing redracer and the Hollywood Track by typing hollywood in the main menu. I guess something like that might exist for The Need for Speed.

Unfortunately there aren't any cheats for NFS 1 SE to unlock tracks and cars. I just find this:

I don't have the answer I'm afraid, because I only played TNFS on Sega Saturn, and the cheat is different there. Does the cheat enabler from NFSCHeats.com not work?

Get any hexadecimal editor. In the GAMEDAT \ CONFIG, is it a file CONFIG.DAT, open it and change the offset 63CEh to 02h.
but I can't find 63CEh and how to change, what line? Any body help???

Yes, Remko im still alive :) In last days I'm back to NFS 1 SE and 2 SE and what is a fun, I play 2 SE on software mode (interior view with dashboard is great)
It's been a while since your last post so I guess you just won the game just playing, but in case you didn't... I did the Hex job 4 u.
Unfortunatly I can't win, this game is so hard but I love it.
I install game by dosbox with this manual:
How to play the game on Windows 10, with a desktop shortcut and the manual.
1. Create the folder NFSSE in Windows (C:)
2. Download the ISO version of the game in the bottom of this page. Go to the download folder and transfer the game to the NFSSE folder you created, it will extract it. Go to the NFSSE folder and double-click on the game, it will mount it.
3. Download UniVBE here : http://bit.ly/1FiaQCK . Extract it to the NFSSE folder.
(on XP SP3 I don't use UniVBE with or without I can't watch videos )
4. Download DosBox and install it.
5. Hit the Windows key and find the DosBox folder, open it and launch DosBox Options. Hit Ctrl+F and search "autoexec". You see this :
"[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here."
Add the following lines and it must be looking like :
"[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.
mount c c:\NFSSE
mount d f:\ -t cdrom
Close DosBox Options and save the changes.
6. Launch DosBox. Type "D:", hit enter. Type "INSTALLD.EXE", hit enter.
7. Click on Install. Choose automatic for the sound card, click on Done. Click on Done again, a weird video bug might appear but don't worry. Choose "Custom Install" and choose all options to reduce load time in-game, click on "Done". The game is installed but "Play" doesn't work, don't click on it. Click on "Exit", hit any key, type "exit" and hit enter.
8. Open DosBox Options again. Hit Ctrl+F and search "machine=" . You see this :
"language=
machine=svga_et4000
captures=capture
memsize=16"
Change "svga_s3" by "svga_et4000" . It solves the video problem. Also if some problem with image size too large, use scalling hq3
9. Hit Ctrl+F and search "autoexec". Add the following lines, it must looks like this now :
"[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.
mount c c:\NFSSE
mount d f:\ -t cdrom
c:\univbe.exe
c:
cd NFSSE
-------------------------
now You have on C: something like this C:\NFSSE catalog and in this catalog You have C:\NFSSE\NFSSE\GAMEDATA and to this catalog You need copy CONFIG from Zipper.rar
