Title: Car Chrome Adjust in NFS High Stakes
Post by: BoxCarRacer on Oct 13, 2018, 10:00 AM
Hey, guys. I've been editing some of RK's cars for a project I'm working on. However today I noted that if I compare the original car with the modified one using FCE Finish, the modified car's chrome is different and doesn't look the way it used to, like the original. What can I do to revert it back to normal? Can I do this in FCE Finish or is it something to be done in Zmodeler 1?

Thanks in advance.  :D

Do you mean the normals? FCE Finish tends to mess your car's normals if you use the parts menu (or use the shading editor). However you can try to recreate the original shading in ZModeler 1 by following these steps from the "create a car from scratch" tutorial (http://"http://zmodeler2.com/docs/program/fulltutor/zmtutor.zip") of Zmodeler's page

AJ,

Thank a lot. I just have c couple more questions:

1. Do I have to make this process for all the parts of the car, or just the body?
2. Does it apply to damaged parts as well?

Thanks in advance.

Well, if you see other parts were affected as well... yeah I, guess
