To make myself appear as not too historic or 'antique' (I mean concerning cars ..) even if my age would suppose so -LOL .. I still have here a smart little rework of a well-known member of ours .. the 'Concept Challenger' by Zalcus20 .. one of our favourite Ghost file tinklers of which I didn't know he was also making cars .. a real 'multitalented' guy as only to be mentioned here .. ^-^
.. what I only did was downscale the car to somewhat real size (0.94 factor) and give it a 'smoother' overall look you might know of and might as well got used to by me in the meantime .. I also added some hopefully better 2½D fivespoke GT wheels and better tyre textures and an ODL that might as well deserved its name and some improved lighting ..
I also imported the better 3D Steering Wheel from provided 'Dash.fce' and made the driver uhm .. a bit more 'life-like' .. ;)
What I also did and what was giving me headaches all the time were those 'air ventilation' flaps on the hood .. solved that now by assigning them to :OS part so the flaps would then 'open' or rather disappear when car is in movement .. close but not real I know since the flaps would open up by hoofing on the gas pedal ... ::)
That car is -by all means- a real badass one that Zalcus20 had done in that early Concept R/T state even if the later SRT8 is being considered a true 'hellcat' .. :o
but see yourself ..
Useless to mention that there might follow up a Pursuit version of it .. as soon as you don't intervene that the 'Concept Challenger' wasn't really been done as a Pursuit car and not to forget Zalcus as the author's given permission for that .. ;)
since now I have a Go! from Zalcus20 I attached the reworked Challenger Concept car for testing ..
Because of the upload filesize limit of 1024kB per post I splitted the car into a fully functional car.viv contained in a first file 'Chally_concept.zip' (filesize 697kB) but without engine sounds except the AI external sound 'Ocareng.bnk' and another zipfile in next post 'Chally_sounds.zip' (filesize: 746kB) containing a 'sound.viv' to simply drag and drop the missing files into the car.viv in NFSWizard, it also contains the VidWall file 'Chal.qfs'.
here's the missing soundfiles and a VidWall file .. I recommend to d/l this since the sounds aren't EA default ones but they sound really great and are matching the car very well. If you have his original version already you can simply drag and drop the files from the old car.viv then, the same VidWall was also provided by his original upload.
As always .. have fun!
Cheers
Frank

you might want to use file hosting services like Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Mediafire, MEGA, etc. instead of the forum's built-in system for big files.
thx AJ ;) ... normally 1MB limit is ok for just testing issues with essential files before I upload the complete car to server then .. it's always the soundfiles making large filesize ... file is now sent anyway .. ^-^
