how do I take a pic of whatever's on my in-game screen? I'd really like to know so I can start posting some pics up for NFS: Carbon.

press the Print Key and then leave the game (or tab out) and go to your fave graphic program and press CTRL + V, and save it. or get FRAPS, thats one cool tool for screenshot stuff :)

For NFS carbon, u can just press F12 and it will take a screenshot. The screenshot is located in your NFSC installation directory. Default:
C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/Need for Speed Carbon

And, NFSC takes screenshots in .jpg format, while NFSMW takes screens in .tga format. You can use IrfanView to open then though.

umm not for me, if i press F12, it tabs out, hah.

F12 is the default key to take screenshots at any point in the game/menu/etc., if you cannot use F12 as Rick described, you'll need to use Prnt Screen and Paint.
