Your file isnt working for me. Game says: 'STREAM - invalid chunk file (chunk too large)' .

Would be nice to be able to edit music files, resp. all bnk files, properly.
For NFS5 you can do it without problems (there you can even add music with correct titles).

Greetings

I check it again, I download my file and replace original file. Everything is ok. Try in options choose track" Amorphous Being" I play NFS4 with expansion pack.

I downloaded the file again and its working now.
Thats interesting ... didnt knew that. Though, i probably will stick with media player playlists since its more comfortable.

How you do it?
Convert to 22050 Hz - Use Ditty Tool from EA server - And convert .asf-files with splt2int.exe ? ???

Greetings

Short step-by-step instruction:
1) Choose music which you want to convert. If you want to use music from the newer NFS games,
just convert it to .WAV with "Game Audio Player" (for NFS5:PU) or use our tool
"Need for Speed Multimedia Converter" for most of new NFS:
http://www.ctpax-x.org/?goto=files&show=27
! CONVERT ONLY TO .WAV FORMAT OR YOU'LL GET LARGE QUALITY LOSS WITH NFS->.MP3->.ASF !

2) Prepare your music - convert it to 22050 Hz, Stereo with any audio editor
If your music is already 22050 Hz, Stereo in .MP3 or .WAV format - you can skip this step

3) Run "Ditty Importer" and convert your music to .ASF format

4) Use "splt2int" to convert it to "interleaved" (use cmd.exe and write; splt2int.exe A.asf B.asf )

5) Now you can rename it, for example, to "GAME1.ASF" and replace the game files

please moderators add this to tools section in NFS4 !!!

Well... You also have option of using that prehistoric thing called a CD. :P NFSHS allows you to use an audio CD to play music in the game. It may not work, though, because I don't know if the game can detect new disk drives correctly.

I think NFSHS was contemporary of MP3 fever and Napster but, since digital music wasn't commercially available back then, physical CDs were the only option. It was pretty nice of EA to give us the option, actually, since nowadays they don't even do that, and leave us stuck with EA Trax junk.
