Title: Unknown track by Sergi ?
Post by: MADMAN_nfs on Mar 15, 2014, 12:31 PM
Hey, I found some pics on my backup-hdd and dont remember where i got those. :'(  It reads "©Sergi" in two of the pictures. I wonder if anyone recognises this track... Was it ever released or is it still downloadable ?

Thx4Reading

Looks like Dolphin Valley:

Hm, the track uses textures from nfs-porsche... but its definitely not Dolphin Valley (at least no version i have).
BTW the links from nfsunlimited.net are dead.

Thx for replying though  :P

Judging by the shape of the map I'd say it's based off of Rocky Pass or Summit. Don't know anything specific but perhaps this helps searching for it.

Isn't Kindiak park the only track with trains?

Did you search here? (Vlad Archer's site I think)

http://nfs2004.ru/nfs_high_stakes_tracks.php

The yellow text on second pic. looked russian.

Ok... got some new information.
Sadly the track never got beyond alpha-stage and wasn't released somewhere. Sergi never finished it and its very unlikely he ever will.

@noise: thanks for the link, I know this site, they got some really nice tracks there - a pity the NFS HS 2008 project was abandoned...
Hey, maybe we can make a thread where anyone can post links to sites that still hosting nfs4 stuff? I think that would be interesting :-)

Late reply, but that's too bad... this really looked promising.  =|
Ah well, it happens. Thanks for finding out about it, though.

Yeah, a real pity but it cant be helped.
If someone is interested in my source   ::) ... I didnt get in contact with Sergi directly but I asked in a russian forum, which belongs to the site linked by noise. Comrade ED9M was so kind to give some (english) replies. Because my russian is even worse than my english  :|
Anyways, here is the link to this topic: http://nfsforum.msk.ru/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=822

What about my question with linking nfs4 pages. Actually no one interested or does this conflict with any forum rules?  :P

Sorry again for the late reply, but there is no objection to that, of course. By all means link all the sites you want (as long as it's family-friendly, don't want to give the young ones nightmares  :P ).

Like you said, maybe it's an idea to make a dedicated thread for it, call it Good NFS Resources or something like that (I'm not much of a copy writer) I see no problem with making that a sticky.  :)
