Hi WiLL,: yeah, I finally started to play the retail version of SHIFT a few weeks ago, and I can confirm that you will be able to play all those bonus cars offline, just like any other car in the game. :) They get added to your garage automatically, so you can use them in Quick Race mode right away.
They come in 'race' colours like you can see in the attachment, but you can paint or tune them any way you want to.

About NFS World: that is indeed another NFS chapter, it's just that it hasn't gotten a lot of attention on our front page yet. (I blame myself for that, simply because I don't care a lot for online-only games): See http://world.needforspeed.com/
It's a massively multiplayer online racing game, kind of like Motorcity Online used to be, except with modern cars, and it's not pay-to-play like MCO was, either. :cool:
It has not been released officially yet, that is going to happen in July:

My Skys in Race are allways, Black do you why this is? I Like it some times but not all times :/
I have my Res/Textures on High for Cars. and Textures/ but not Track is on Medium.
I'm only getting 15 FPS it shows but the Game/Runs/Replays are Fast tho?

Update post: Hey i wanted say that Ver 2.01 Patch Helped my skys from being Black so Far.
I Love these 4 Extra Classic, Hot Rods, I Repainted GT 500 Like Ellenor.
Wont have stripes but owell, i Like that Old Corvette is sweet. an

Ah, glad to see you solved the Black Sky bug, I've seen in forums that other people had the same problem, but I didn't know what the solution was. :)
I have to say that the retail version of the game, patched and all, runs a lot better than the demo did. I can play it with most graphic settings to medium, and texture quality high (I suppose it helps that I always race bumper cam - dash view does slow it down noticeably)
I do occasionally get graphic bugs like the replay being blurred, and sometimes patterns show up on my otherwise sticker-free car. Oh well.

yeah, i have her on High settings for Cars an Medium track ones. That Replay with a Blurryness in it at times. I thought its just the games, Like fast Motion like? or Blurr effect some times, it looks really cool,at times?
Yeah, dash View,looks cool im only in there say 20 secs at most? that Blurs out as we go faster rite?
I like using the HuD View Gauges, most too drive by. Better Control an View. I wished Replay Mode had a easyer way of control, without the other screens of winnings on that,owell. Im glad i have the Mouse in there now easyer. :}

Well, I don't know how smooth your game still would be if you were to set your graphic settings higher, it depends on your video card (I don't know what you have , sorry if you mentioned this before), and it also depends on the size of your monitor, I suppose.
In the screenshots you can see the settings I'm currently using, my specifications (windows xp):
AMD X2 64 5000 cpu (2.6 ghz dual core)
2 gb DDR@ ram
Ati Radeon 4650 video card (1 GB ram)
monitor native resolution: 1680 x 1050 (20 inch widescreen)
With these settings I usually get 25-30 fps when I race with bumper cam, and it looks good enough for me.
I have car detail on low, because I still think it looks detailed enough. You really only notice it in close-up at the wheels or the foglights.
Track detail also looks good enough at 'low'. I must admit I haven't actually tried to set these higher.
I had anti-aliasing at 2x, like you, recently I set it to 4x. Doesn't really slow it down, but the screengrabs still look a little jagged around the edges, I'm gonna try 8x next time.
In your case, you could always try to set your resolution a little higher, but like I said at the beginning, that depends on the size of your monitor.
You could try low car detail, to compensate for the bigger resolution. Changing texture filter to Trilinear may also be an option, I think it runs smoother for me than Anisotropic filter does.
It depends on what you want: bigger resolution, or more detail?
If you're worried about overheating your videocard or CPU, you could try SpeedFan to monitor the internal temperature in your PC:

Should the temperatures run really high, then you could consider a better fan for those components, or maybe a casefan for general cooling.

So how come on your list,you dont have Anotroplic Setting, on Grahics? is that because your Res, is alot Higher? see i dint know?
Reason my Res isen't so large is i have resize my Vids an thought was a Hassel at times.
But i thihink maybe higher could,make them look better?

On that Trilinear Looks alot better. Fps do go up like you said,was Intresting.

I understand about the low resolution now, it makes recording replays etc. with Fraps a lot easier on your machine.
Because I thought my machine would ghave difficulty running it, I started out with everything on low. But that made the textures look really blurred and ugly (see attachment) - I think that was with texture on bilinear. Setting it to trilinear gave me the best quality/framerate balance.
I haven't had time recently to play, but the next time I think I'll try setting car or track detail higher (though I suspect high car detail will probably slow down the game on full grid races...)
hey it helped me say 50% np. Guess what i put them Grafics back on Billinare however game says that and my game got a better Frame Rate Remko.
Also i put Track on low with shadow detail,cause i dont care. and Car is on High with Textures. im getting say 25 Fps now.

Im just about 50% threw Career Mode now,yawn its just fun is all.
I keep busy working the Buttons like a DJ, when im Recording LoL.
I dont Record all the Driving,because that Lowers my Frame rate of course, then i stop an say cya, at the Full Replay. im not showing all them heh (Overkill) So just saying how i do them.
Also i turn down the Res back too 720x540 because i think that caused my Dvd errors last night?.
