This is a new bug I spotted on 'This or That: Part II' thread.
If I directly move to the last page of it by clicking on '90' in the forum section, it shows no posts. Only quick reply text box.

However, if you move on to Pg.89, it shows all posts correctly & last post ends on Pg.89 itself. Then how come it shows '90' in forums? :eek3:
Whats more, if we reply, it takes us back to pg.90. But if we go to Pg.89, our post is there. :ugh:
That is weird. For me, it lists 108 pages, but pages 106, 107 and 108 are blank.
I did some pruning of spam bot accounts last night, so that could have had something to do with it.
But anyway, I opened a part 3 thread :)
It shows 90 for me because I have selected 50 posts per page. I think it reached its limit so its showing like that. :ugh:
The same happened yesterday in Random Thread as well & today in Empire City New Concept. But as new page appeared, its gone.
yeah i just noticed these Limits, today on Random Thread.
So just wanted too mention,its pretty Loong anyways ;)

Yeah, I just went to the Random Thread. I don't think it is a thread limit bug, something else maybe, cause it just messed up at 81 pages, not 108 like This or That II.
I found another bug. In Random Thread, it shows 2003 replies in forums. But actually there are 1987 replies except my last one.
When I clicked on the latest post link for the Random Thread, I see no posts only the Quick Reply box :(
RS is correct, only now it shows 2005 replies. Also, if you load Random Thread up it goes to page 81, with nothing else showing, BUT, if you go back to page 80, you see posts, and if you reply, it goes back to page 81 again, same old story, nothing showing, but go back to page 80 again, and there is your new reply showing where it should be. Mike, what is going on?
Crazy, i just noticed thee,old Who's Next thread, is doing the same thing?
Me wonders if its a Virus doing this,? or whatever? :ugh:
I don't think it's virus-related, although I admit don't exactly know right now what is causing this.
I'm guessing it may be related to the length of some of the popular off-topic threads (I've read about long threads causing glitches in other forums too), so that's why we've resorted to starting new threads for now.
Damn, it just happened to the Who's Next part4 thread, which is only on page 54 or 55 I think. But I think I got a handle on this ......glitch we'll call it. When it hits a thread, new posts seem to default to creating the next page early, so basicly the next page is a blank one with no posts yet, but when you use the little page number link to go back to the previous page, the posts are they, including the new posts, right where they should be.
Just checked the who's next thread, and when i posted it went to a new page this time, or the page it created early and it seems I was right. My poste showed up on page 55.
I guess the solution is to make all new threads
EDIT: No, it's not. That same glitch RS just described just happened to me with a 5-page long thread about Empire City New Concept. What's up? :p
Yeah it just ahappened to the Empire City Concept thread, at page 5! But I bet that if once you load it up, click the 4 to go to page 4 and post there, then go back to page 4 again after it kicks oyu to page 5 afterwards, your new post will be on page 4.
