Title: Animated objects in tracks NFSHS
Post by: Code 4 on Feb 13, 2010, 6:16 AM
Hu everyone,

In some tracks you have animated objects like the waterfalls in Atlantica.
My question is: How can I make such animated objects?
Could somebody help me?
Many Thanks

Hmm... I'm not sure about this :squint:. As far as like the plane above Hometown, can't you export it and then re-import into another track? But for the waterfalls, I think it's just a static object which has animated textures. So, the texture file when you import a .BMP, make it an animated .GIF or something?

I don't know much about track editing because the 3D View doesn't work on my PC

The waterfalls ARE animated textures indeed. When setting up the texture properties for a polygon you can check the option "animated", type in the number of different pictures the animation uses and for how much time each texture is displayed. Have a look at the waterfalls from Atlantica to see how to set them up correctly.
