Well, my previous screenshot program was a failiure, Print Screen only saves one image per .exe launch, and I don't want to have to buy Fraps (I bought it before but that old PC crashed and now lost it)
Anyway, I was going to point out a cool little feature of NFS: HS. You can take screenshots-within the game! It's really simple, you just have to press Alt + P, like it says in the Predefined Keys section of the "Controls..." menu. A nice feature of that even is that the game will hide the little + sign if you quit the race to replay, and it'll hide the camera bar as well. Well anyway, I first installed HS with only EA cars and Expansion Pack with the EA add-on cars and the EP tracks. Using EA (+EA Add-on) cars and standard tracks, I was able to utilize this screenshot feature in-game and uploaded many of the screens (15 actually) to SOTD which will appear soon, hopefully. Anyway, since then I've installed my FM Mod, which is just a bunch of mod cars / tracks that import into NFS HS Mixer. Gameplay is successful, but when it comes to taking screenshots the camera bar and + sign still hide, but after closing NFS I have no screenshots on my desktop. I've tried different NFSHS.EXEs, all except the standard one which doesn't recognize my CD. Anyone know what's up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

oyeah well i have the full ver. of fraps.
It's the 07 one i think.
So maybe i could email you it FM.
If you'd like its about 4 megs
or less?
The Alt+P function is indeed something that stops working once you start adding mod cars with higher polycounts... I've been noticing this since 2000-2001, since people started building cars with 3000 or 4000 polys or more.
I've never understood exactly why this happens, but it's just a fact that at that point, all you can do is use an external program to grab your screens.
(Just remember to run it before you start NFS HS, because you can't alt+tab out of the game without crashing...)
I don't see why you'd need to buy Fraps, though, as the free version captures screens perfectly fine... unless you don't like the fact that it saves as bitmap only (although there are lots of free tools that will let you convert these to Jpegs, even multiple screens at a time).
In that case, if you want an alternative screengrabber that does save directly to Jpeg, you could try Howies Quick Screen Capture (corny name, but it does the job) from http://www.howiesfunware.com/ I used this myself for years before I started to use Fraps, and its 100% free. :)
(off-topic: your animated signatures never cease to amaze me, WiLL ;))
Thanks WiLL, though considering it's tecnhically illegal, I did buy it before...
But I might have to go with Remko's suggestion. Thanks both of you :)
Naw, Its ok Thx too, Remko
I dont feel its,tecnhically illegal
Geez just use it at home?
