Title: Help!!!
Post by: FerrariMan on Oct 06, 2009, 2:01 PM
Hope this is the right forum for this. I can't boot windows anymore. I was tying to make a new partition with justm windows xp but it deleted my nfs4 stuff partition. Then I tried to create the partiton but it messes up my pc. Said I needed to reboot to make changes but i got error: loading pbr for descriptor 3. Press any key to restart. Then it asks me to put in my system disk bu it couldn't recognized it. Intried to fix error but I made ut say ntldr missing instead. Any help

Sorry for unusual typos I'm typing from iPod touch which can still conect to my wifi. I hope I didn't lose my he'd

Reformat it

It should fix it, but you'll lose ALL your data, so make sure you have your programs and important files backed up somewhere, or you're screwed.

Didn't have ANYTHING backed up. But it's okay now :)

I had to overwrite NFS4 partition to install XP but now I'm good... just got to reinstall every program that uses registry (read: everything) :p

Good to hear that. Now sounds like a good moment to start backing up like a crazy man.  ;)

It's like they say: when you think you're making too many backups, you're probably doing it just right.
