I followed my chance to share the things of 4lower related progresses. By now I would like to introduce to you the Renewed Car List (March 26 '17).

(I count on you) Quality control assistance,
The Car scale & propotions (just like the Authors made one),

In this post there is No custom COPS cars, Nor custom TRAFIC cars. It needs a work.

The handling notice (is vary holly**** ways). There its 100% originals, mixed, unfinished, old releases (in archive). Thats all I have so far on hdd (newest). Most things is still in my head. Im not 19 years old. Its still in phaze Beta. I mean the cars you know already: Brera, ChallengerRT, TS50... and... oh well... there Zonda-R which is in "Step3" that i still can't publish in Online Racing section, b/c its simply undone).

How much is Shift'2 bud, an how old is it,again 2012 it come out?.
Do you have to have a Real Hearty Video. Card play it on Max Graphics?
I know I wasted my $9.00 bucks on UC, game I didn't install it or want to.
Yanked some old textures off it was all :)
I'm happy enough with Carbon, I like that,um setting that makes parts bigger, wider, Auto Sculps,. Thing. ))

For example the new development is brake decreasing curve,

Makes car handling and brakes instantly SOFT. I mean the 0.777103 volue at the end. Plus it makes after-braking-acceleration (genericly) looks similar to nowdays aka GT or Forza. Not a big but improvemnt.

Im happy just about that now I can choose any car to make to continue building the lists. Perhaps AJ's modern Ford GT500 ?

Notices:
The overal handling overview doesnt satisfying to me. I will tell why: in 2016 my own creatoin (get lucky) on Chevy Concept handling has been observed in all aspects; online and offline. By emotions it was like mind blow (to me). Car was sliding, drifting, tires factors, overbraking etc was at the peak. // And so now I cannot bring it back by sacrifying the Career gaming in HS. So, the notice is about to make you know that (as it was said), there gonna be plenty (yup) separate folders with same car list but differences in handling. The one who playing Swheel suppose to have "Racing folder", "Career", "Career on swheel", "online"...etc. Lotta options to change...

Notices:
To Steering Wheel you have to know (yup) a bug when playing High end performance car like Zonda, the car starting to make a shakes (if to press brakes + turn when the car is parked somewhere). Its because of high Lateral Acceleration etc. It can be ignored in the future at like I have said just above here at Notices1.

Hey, i have tested your handlings with keyboard.

Steering feels plausible for all cars. On decelerating the turn-circle is smaller, which makes sense.
The soft braking is great with keyboard. Makes sense for cars with anti-lock brakes.

I did not understand what you want to tell us with this menu graphic you have linked... is this meant as feedback guide or what shall be displayed?

The Vauxhall Monaro VXR drives very good. Pretty plausible for this car. But with this high g-transfer factor you will run into trouble with AI.

The Fiat drives good, has nervous rear which matches this car imo. But everything feels sluggish, it feels heavy and slow (im not talking about speed, but braking for example). Not sure if this matches this car. Rather looks like a small car (good braking and reactive handling), so handling is not plausible to me this way. Again high g-tranfer values will give trouble with AI.

The Zonda drives very plausible. Its my favorite from this handlings, but also brings the AI problems.

The Daytona, well, I know its the race version of the 69 Charger - but it simply drives too good for a muscle car in my oppinion  :)
The car should have less grip and slower steering (if you go for realism). Also this car does not have antilock brakes. Of course in reality you dont slam the brakes full lock all the time, but it would be nice if the block after certain time (should be possible to set this behaviour with the brake increasing curve). This handling will also not work with AI.

Overall the handlings are very good imo. The biggest issue is that all of them break AI behavior. AI cars will always get stuck on slopes with g-transfer factor set this high. Maybe you can find a way to achieve similar handling with lower g-transfer factor (about 5.0 or lower)?

I know it breakes AI. We must sacrifice 1st gear of Opponent Acceleration Tables to make it a ...liiiiiiittlleeee bit more precised at slopes. I cannot reduce g-transfer; it causing it, but i cant. otherwise it not will even be close to fidelity to nfs4 (to me). Perhaps some folks can avoid it, but my heart is ...I might do even bigger volue)), well, for Race versions.

I will consider all i heard, and, if i..., will fix all issues at the latest versions.

AntiLock brakes: lets wait until the car behaviour will be separated by the folders. Digital and Analoge are complicated to increase. To make some cars overbraking at sharp corners it needs to reduce the Lateral Acceleration Grip Multiplier. That point makes the sensivity of the game looks like "AntiGTA", "AntiForza"... so... Ill consider your reply MMnfs.

I made some adjustments to ratios along those acts.
10 cleanly made cars. Thats becoming foolish. Every gear ratio and speed was made guided by the Shift2. 10 cars's Engine are 94% accurate. -- just saying.

all the settings always going mad on that car. This time it wasnt exception, a day of beating it gave 100% result on handling (seriously). Bad thing is, to notice it, you need 1) make gamma - dark 2) or atleast to turn off the shading effect.

Same accurate as previous car, but in less less time.
Lads Lass can you notice how perfect HS is ?

(slopes). I think of at the end of that nightmare the 4lowers will grow finally. It climbing hard but,, 1st OAT table and stuff will makes Career playable. VEGs patch can allow "that" go al-over the limits.

P.S. Im pleased of Koenigsegg. No one get hurt, the game is good.

Singleplayer haters: Pitch-roll makes sparks under the wheels, you cannot fix it during race. Hope the Tuning can allow the stiffer or quicker acceleration, without anybugs as I expi in past. In Damage realism bars, I havent noticed any differences (so far). Tires wear: gonna make career fun.

Hope online, the f"""-wheel base will be sacrificed by the g-transfer. AI must be happy.

Nice Experiments, your doing bud the brakes, max thing I never make them here gher than, 9.5 or 10 cause it gets to grippy on Hand brake for Corners like you agreed with me on.  8)

Hand barke is quite a bit not from this game. It was taken from Starcraft, Counterstrike or whatever, its just not for Nfs4. None the setups was ever made was getting realistical handbrake! I never actually use it in Career before - i finished it about 5 times.

 Yeah, Nice, explain about it,  i use it for a Fast Second, is all on some CW. Corners its also fun  on snow an Grass flags till it wants to Spin, out an I let go of it. I haven't tried Career mode since I had, Vegs, patch running, but I do miss that mode... Most my cars add-on ones, in Fedata, says, no to Career mode. An so maybe that makes Career mode crash out, I mean to Upgrade cars etc. So I shouldn't try upgrade them, to Prevent a Crash game then? If the car I use is a Straight fast good mod? Handling too. Ttul Gem.  :D  ^-^

Perhaps not even a sign of game-crash, not sure.

I took pause on continueing making handlings. Nobody even to talk with. "R.E.MLosing My Religion". But im pretty sure I can handle that *** from the places. Sad but so what!! There OAT also, that not even pain in the ****, the handling creation that hurts a little to brains.

Creating OAT is the pleasure. I dont need to concern the numbers, im  just putting the right one. I did that every 4lower-stiffnroll-gfactor releases and i felt kind. Yup, so what?

In career, you can only put the summ number & its alright playble (i hope).

North California was a good track (you made one) but... who actually cares.

Handbrake is kinda thing makes me wonder how the *** it can be employed in game without changing every setting to hell (and sending it flying).

Hey, well I learn few days things from you Gem ) that you post about game specs an all you do... So don't be to Hard on yourself... here tonight... Copy an paste deal, situation not so fun. About this way old track I did so long ago.. I barley, remember that thanks ) I'm thinking of the Coastal track shape, Paul EL. Did,  an all the Returexe Fixs ups last year, was my better mod bud :} than what you um, said, it looks great an lighthouse, an such. I started Career mode last night so is running fine, I need to ask you this Gem, in NFS Wizard, in Cars Fedata I changed the he Car Price down lower on my add-on cars. But when in game, they act show, up as Un- changed why is this :( say a 25,000 car I put on say 8,000 but still shows up to 25,000 what is making it not change do you know what more I need to do? Maybe its an old Question?.

OK I used the Gates, Code so I got 50 mill :p  like the car repair is nice, OK I'm so n HS. Circuit k, an I raced my B' class an Won the other guys car Gem.
You know an didn't do the other races, an it says I Won that HS. Circuit, but it won't let me do any other Tiers, in there on it. So seems Confusing, sum  I'm using some fun tracks, Paris, an this big Germany track, an so Coastal was funny I used AJ's, Toyota Supra  >:D

So how to do the career playable then?
You said to Tiers, now im asking. Shall I edit .DAM files, or should i edit the .PAT files ? eh. I mean of how to make it completely playable?

Perhaps your cars hadnt been sorted corrctly (for career) and your  serial-numbers are wrong ?

Hi Gem, if I get your Chevy file how do I can install it?  What is the file a Carp.Txt only NP. An no I'm not having any Serial's, # issues,there all good, have 49 total cars installed.
Thanks, so is this AJ's older I-rock chevy well maybe since I beat that B' class car at Coastal, race I won the that lol without having to do all the other 4-5 races, I had a feeling it do that? On HS Race it's at the beginning like 3rd. One down cya )

Challenger took a huge amount of ****, if it would be updated, Ill edit my post.

@MMnfs: report the bugs chap.

Previous performance of that car was 0-100 in 7.1, and now its 6.1. Its average R/T performance from 1971.

Feels like a pretty realistic muscle car handling. Steering and performance feels plausible. So it is a very good handling - i like it. But let me do some proposals for improvement.

Like i said before, i would recommend using a gradual brake increasing curve. It will make things more realistic for keyboard players - you get more control of the brakes and the tires will lock up when holding the brake key too long. Which is realistic for cars from that era.
These increasing/decreasing curves have no influence on analog controllers anyways.

For example try this setting:
Max breaking decelaration: 18,910000
Brake increasing curve: 6.777103,4.499992,101.499992,191.499992,191.499992,191.499992,191.499992,191.499992

Brake decreasing curve is not so important.


Again there is the high g-transfer factor. I know it makes the car go into slide when braking hard, which adds realism.
But I wished you would rather make "slide" behaviour via less grip instead of high g-transfer factors. Im convinced it will fix many problems  :)
Besides, with online racing in mind (which you prefer), g-transfer slides can easily interrupted by pressing the handbrake. It will instantly stop the slide and can be used for cheating in steep corners! Just something to think about maybe...

All cheaters from Nfs4 is probably not as cheaters as the cheaters from Swat4 game, which one was hacked me during the game, and so I had the rotine of viruses on PC, and shall be use the Acronis boot cd to delete the undeletable crashing system folders (in msdos) in 2007. Just saying.

Thanks on feedback Im gonna test the brakecurves. If ill find it cool, ill use them.

"Slide" behaviour - 1gear shifting problems, you know, is bad thing for that. Changing the FrontDrive into plus can make the brakes to looks "instant" because that par is changing brakes behaviour. Ill consider you... I already did actually. I decreased the Lateral Acceleration Grip Multiplier on Challenger (will post it on EDIT in quite this post).

Been searching for way to get Challenger smarter at:
Grip,FirstGearProblem, Out Ramp
And I get found interesting things.

I did not tested it on swheel yet. The max.braking.deceleration is over norms (at this stage). The par. been handled from 27 to 50.000000, and became unstable. I know the decicision for reducing it,.. but need me to test it a bit (in the future).

Summit's hardest Slope cannot be performed yet, this way it needs reducing frontdrive, and i dont want to yet - it has a Golden volue from 2016, and been tested Online and I was said it has touching and nervous gameplay. I performed the all hard Slopes at weather is On, and even Summit's closest to the hardest. I can say its playable.

Updated Zonda R (and dressed it in natural Vlad Archer's ZondaR).

The situation is definatly looks prettier. Its just that Slopes (first gear shift problem) makes that take more time.
So MMnfs was right about Grip. Maybe he was right about something else, i dont know. That game is evil, everyone can agree... especially on PC.

I fixed the brakes (still glitching a little bit).

And, since december 22, I'vnt been touch the nfsWizard; been scare that this is the end. Today (just now) I drove slowest (Fiat) and fastest (Zonda-R) cars at this stage and I just realised that this is Actually the end. eh.

:)

So I took my bag pipes and started a new direction the way HS'99 can go. In short period of times I will make an bag pipes soundtrack (need to visit a musical store).

Was found Diablo and Challenger a bit outdated by handling (since december 22). Yesterday I was able to fix up the Diablo (tune the Carp a bit. Just a little bit - to say literally). Now the Diablo is more nowdated. Posting it.

I might think that, people probably wondering why of what is new to 4lower to other stuff. I might answer - is nothing. There is main-menu art themes:
we-funk, progressive, Muscle, Marilyn Monroe, classic, Christmass 08-09, Butterfly, Alessandra Ambrosio, 4lower ver2, 4lower ver1.
Them are all from previous 4lower pack posted on NfsCars somewhere in 2012. If you need that Themes I may pack it for you.
4lower has Alternated and Zoomed style of a car in garage. Need it?
back in 2012 or so I was able to create a Wind soundtrack to race, and NHL99 soundtrack to menus. Need it?
...and maybe, the improved special sprites (effects). But its far is not finished. Need it? I might post it.

As I said there nothing new to 4lower v.5 except the handling. We made ratios to handling here on NfsAddons. Braking system is too tough and AI is a bit "drunk at slopes". These things can be fixed only if to punish the fun.

Today I've updated the Diablo.
Its more nowdated now by the tuning-up the overal physics laws parameters (quite a bit):
Front Drive Ratio, TireWear\TireFactor, Turn In Ramp base, PushFactor.

Not completely sure if its becomes better now. I think so.


...yup. perhaps it is looks a much better. These 4 parameters that I changed is a Base to any type of performance.
I wouldnt been lazy to employ em to Challenger RT (just now), and its feels fantastic! Im very happy about that.

I agree on large incorrect Ratio volues from car to car (of the grips, laterals, wheelspeeds, gradients) but, them are not as large actually, i have no patience to Tune it, really. I know that ChallengerRT is too slow at grip and Diablo is too fast at grip... metters to opinions.

The handlings are very similar from the feeling. I think the Challenger handling matches best actually.
The Fiat should be a little more agile in corners in my oppinion :)

The Diablo has the "spin out" bug that occurs when braking and steering in one direction until full stop. This can be fixed by slightly reducing the "G-Transfer" and "Lateral acceleration grip multiplier" values.

The AI bug is still present with all handlings, due to the high G-Transfer value. You gave them more power in first gear so they not get stuck at least, but still - on every slope they go at crawling speed. Not good for single player.

Yes, it has "spin out" bug. Was spent plenty of time thinking about. Car has sensivity and it was "not welcome" by EA - i might guess. Mostly of Era. Im sure Hot Pursuit 2 & NFS2000 doesnt have one. / Maybe it will go well at larger Turning Circle Radius, its already huge but, it the normal way of removing the bug - i think. I will check that later again! Driving on steering wheel at low TCR is "unnice". / "G-Transfer" and "Lateral acceleration grip multiplier" -- Car might become "slow". Dunno, send to here a your video to YT, when youll be done (do fix it for that post in NfsWiz). In HS, whatever parameter it is, it just equal to another par partially... partially. +, what ever device you playing HS it all a bit different feel aka keboards, gamepads, swheel. / To TCR, the decreasing Wheelbase making TCR in-the-game look shorter (i noticed that). If its not equal to eachother Ill surely release it here.

A.I. ? oh oh oh. terrifying bug by EA. But at list the AI behaviour a little differce at corners - in case of AI realism. To be correct, I actually didnt worked with OATables since the first post in that topic :). Oh well except (Zonda?) first gear (quite) try.

In this post I updated that car. It took more than 3 days, mostly because of none else where i can take Ratio for car that goes from 0-100km in 5.3sec.

Its nowdated to other 4 cars and its more precised at settings (lateral, grip, wheelspeed etc.). Based on that car release, other cars is much easier to define.

Soo, 0-100km:
Spider - 8
Challenger - 6.1
Monaro - 5.3
Diablo - 4
Zonda - 2.8 (a bit more due to HS performance of speed, counter technical lack)

I couldnt manage to solve the any of previously spoken technical ussues

This is brand new SFX to HS. None (if I am sure) of effects was touched from original except:
The car shadow: Im absolutely sure this is the best variation from any other I have made. Its Artistical but its still an partially the shadow of the sun but one time its the shadow under the car. Its blured perfectly - as much as Photoshop allow to all "that".

The tire trace on asphalt: Was using it since 2017 or 2016 its nearly perfectly suits to me. Its did not bothers to look when racing and its still sharpened well, contrasted and absolutely visible on asphalt.

The smoke of asphalt: I perfermed the changes to make smoke to be ballanced by brightness over original and "white" smoke. Thinking, I got lucky making very "good feeling" texture. I tested it for couple of hours.

The car is pretty stable, as long as you keep accelerating... otherwise it starts sliding - not realistic this way. So if one drives Geminiyo style and stays on the gas whole time its okay i guess :)
Besides that, good muscle handling, no major issues apart from the infamous AI bug (but i know you decided to ignore that).
Also controllable with keyboard and in nasty weather conditions.

The color schemes are nice. You tried to recreate the factory colors schemes? If so, note that in 1969 the "daytona stripe" only had three factory specifications: white, black or red.

Ford Mustang GT S550 is Back.
The most highly proper handling ever made by me to HS (handling).

I woke up early, thought about success of Daytona, then decided to make S550. 5 hours Straight to it, makes its fidelity to handling to HS. But. It is undrivable on weather (a first gear does not switch). Adopt yourselves to manual then.  So,

Ratio is from Daytona, but a lot of things has been changed. First of all is - "Wheel base" is literally 100% satisfying. Also Aerodynamics is lowered (just like on Daytona Charger). Its brings new Aerodynamical ratio which none been used on any car posted here, except Daytona and this one. Other settings that changed, is makes given sense.

An interesting music selection. Won't bore you with legal concerns and just give my oppinion about the music. The song lengths are mostly balanced, so you will hear different songs per race (2-3min is perfect i think). That is good. Some racing tunes are about 5 minutes,  the showcase even 7 minutes - too long. Cut the showcase music to a nice loop, it will save filesize as well - in the end, you won't look so often and so long at a showcase.

Btw, what are the song-titles of the folk songs entitled "Show Ep4 1", "Show Ep34" and "Show Ep12" (GAME2, GAME8 & GAME16)? Are they from a TV show?

Although i like most of your songs (as pure music), i think not all fit the pace of a racing game. Songs like "Autumn's Twilight", "Way Up On The Hill" or "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" are too slow and sad for a racing tune (these are also the overly long songs mentioned before).
Also i not see myself driving a Hot Pursuit race, while having Nirvana's "Rape Me" as playback... although there is a certain humor in it maybe - hm.
What i really like are the rock'n'roll tunes. Although these have that 50-60s vibe and probably won't match a modern car lineup...  :D
Faster songs, like "Something Skattish", are a better match-up overall. The menu music is mostly slow and calm, thus a good choice in my book.
Just my thoughts, music is of course always a matter of taste.  ;)

Nirvana potentially, is out of sync with racers, but its fun man (was) abd his music is be loved by even a womens. Its unique music,.. but yeah a little bit of "lack of something else on PC". Though there many other songs on my PC however.

I do have a 790 rocknroll ballads. But somehow I chose only 3 of them. Dont know, maybe because I thought nobody of Nfsfans is liking it (or even hate it). However, I did not know the people tastes. /// I really dont know what to say about that "creation", need a time the time will tell.

Need testers.
The speed modifiers is different now. The car becomes much more stable. Fixed brakes lag (I turn off the "YES" to "NO" in antilockbrakes par). The car still a bit like "steadiness" at full turn from stop, but much less dicky than it was. I think that for the one of the fasteset car in the game the overal look of handling is satisfying.

Any thoughts about "steadiness"?

Removed the Power Steering. Other fixes.

Updated Torque it is realistical to the game. Added more precision.

Huge update to 20 cars! Engine tuning, its much more accurate now. After, the new parameters ratio. In overal the handling is better than previosly.

The Grip now is Not the same to most cars again. More realism.
