Thank you all.

You can see for yourself, how many Matra prototypes used letter P

To be exhaustive, we must add the Matra Bagheera U8. It is a Bagheera with an extended wheelbase to accommodate an 8-cylinder U-shaped engine. That is to say, two parallel 4-cylinder engines connected by a chain. Economical to produce but disastrous in terms of fuel consumption.

The René Bonnet Djet, which quickly became the Matra Djet, was the first production car with a mid-engine layout.
The most exciting was the Matra MS610.
It was a modified Matra Jet 5 designed to accommodate the 16 twin cam engine from the Lotus Cortina.

I modeled all versions of this car on GT Legend:
The René Bonnet Jet, the Matra Jet5 rally car, the Aerojet from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the MS610.
The latter was also converted to GTR2, as shown in the video below.

I don't know if many people will like this toy, but I'm having a lot of fun modeling it. With 255 hp for 870 kg, a super-rigid chassis, and a center of gravity 10 cm from the ground, I think those who give it a chance will be pleasantly surprised.

I really like the P29. My country hasn't produced many original and fun cars (ventury, turbo2, RCZ ...). This Matra is a kind of Super Seven, but better; I mean reliable, usable in the rain.... You know what "Lotus" stands for: Lots Of Troubles Usually Serious.
The car won't take me long, even though I don't have a blueprint.

I'm going to improve the TZ2 because it's also going to be adapted into one or two other old games.
The Ghibli was always planned alongside the 365GTB/4, the Mangusta, the DBS, and the Miura, the Grifo. To stay with the trident,  also planned the Bora (not the Volkswagen, please).
I think about the Bora European version, without the vulgar American bumpers. No one makes it except someone who mod a US-specs version for Assetto corsa,  CSR Classic: (the GR4 version with wide body and plexiglass headlights), and its array of little opportunistic converters on GTA SA, GTR2, Assetto Corsa ....

Quote from: pete9516 on Oct 24, 2025,  3:41 AMIt looks sooo good. But is it possible that you're using larger textures? It reminds me of that 1 Ferrari where Madman has posted those comparison pics
Madman used a smaller texture. (256x256)
I think the idea is to use the smooth effect of the NFS engine's antialiasing. I will try.

Designer William Towns seems to have had a soft spot for the Mustang and the Camaro.

and I forgot Marcos Mantula, TVR S4, Lorentz & Rankl Silver Falcon, Isdera Imperator...

The spotlight are fixed now (canal Alpha miss), the rims are new and the drive is on the good hand side  8) .

About the 80's and 90's cars there are some oversights to be rectified. For instance, I think the sexyest Ferraris are between the 275 GTB and the 575 Maranello like the M1, Jalpa, Countach, Pantera, Longchamp, Esprit, Bora, 928, GTV6, 635CSI... Bitter cars, Panther SOLO 1,  AC 3000me .... etc  shouldn't be forgotten

I realized that I've been sharing my little cars with you for a quarter of a century. Some sixty cars for NFS4 have come out of my mouse and my Lightwave3D software; cars from a happier, freer time. Initially I made these addons for myself, but it made sense to make them available since I was using Carcad, Zmodeler, FCE Finish2, FCE Center, even MRC, which were themselves downloadable.

After 25 years, I took stock. I've browsed this site, and I've reread all your comments in NFSaddons. Among all those who downloaded, there are 43 people who have spent time writing to me. So, of course, I'd like to thank Mike and the team that administers NFS Addons. I'm thinking of my X-files accomplice (7300 polygons max) and I salute AJ_Lethal for NFS Modder's Corner.

But I'd also like to thank AgentMulder, AndreiK, AndrewHelex777, bfut, bug110, Cooya !, Dandresden, Depressed Owlet, EvoX, FerrariMan, Herms, Isdea, Jaguara, Jordy 404, Kevin K, LRF, MADMAN_nfs, rata_536, MasterLife, McRacer Guy from CDT, mecha, Mike, nfsfan83, Nikster, noise, Paul Spain, pete9516, Rafel, Reight, Remko, RTR450R, Skoti_nfs, Rider66, Ronny77, Sarge Paul, Spectre, Stifen_DY, Venko, WiLL, XRaider927, Zalcus20, Zipper, Zpectre for spending a few minutes on their keyboard in the forum, the downloads, the showroom or the PM. It always touched me, and that reminds me that sometimes, these few textured polygons can bring a touch of joy to people.

Rest assured, it's not over yet.
