What saddens me is the apathy of the forum.  The ratio between guests and users.
I'm lucky, on my topic "last rides..." I get one reply for every 1,000 views. It's one of the best ratios on the forum, and I thank you for that.
Frankly, I admire the team that administers the site, the T3ED Updates team, my X-Files partners, and all those who offer something original in these games.
Those who animate our forum do so mainly with regard to the older NFS games. I think I share this nostalgia for the early days of modding with a generosity that is lacking in our time. These games are ours.

Did P.K.Dick discribe futuristic cars in his short stories?

The novelette was too much short and it  didn't leave New York. No need to use cars. But Philip K. Dick writes in the same universe. Blade Runner, Total Recall, and Minority Report describe the same society where we encounter futuristic cars.

I am a huge fan of Philip K. Dick.

There are no surprises. Cars from this era are more difficult to model: the absence of protruding edges, the lack of data and photos... It would take me much longer. But it's clear that the 1938 Hispano Suiza Dubonnet Xenia, the 1936 Peugeot 402 N4X, the 1937 DELAGE V12 Labourdette, the 1937 Lancia Aprilia aerodinamica .... would be exciting to model, but frankly too much eccentric for NFS, even for me. Apart from PsychedelicRock, whom I salute if he's around, no one has really tackled these decades.
What I'm proposing is personal and corresponds to cars I've come across in exhibitions, museums and historic races that pass by my home. they are imprinted on my retina. That's why there are almost no American cars. They don't mean anything to me.

I have this kind of collection, but it spreads from 1952 to 2054, from the unique model to the very small series.

I'm remaking the wheels of the proxima to erase the static wheel bug and I reduced the understeer. Proxima and Oxia will be update together.

Cooya! the EX-7 has always been in the back of my mind. The Dome and the Mazda exist in other games.

Spectre -> Every Mazda, Toyota GR collection, Honda prelude, swift, vitara, yaris, BRZ . There are two saab sonnet in my collection.

So in my small collection, it's the Alfa Romeos, 512BB, the M1, the Esprit, the Jensen and the 504 Coupé that I like the most at the moment. I would have hoped that the Swedes would defend their Saab a little.

pete9516, Nikster, Spectre, Cooya -> I think that today's cars are designed for leasing, either long-term or with an option to purchase. The lease payments are converted into financial products that are resold on the market. It's like mobile phone contracts. Under these conditions, customers should not be attached to their cars. I only see the Japanese producing desirable cars, and their financial results, apart from Nissan, are really good. Most of those who own an MX-5 or a GR86 do not consider getting rid of them within three years.

I mean, in general, the whole process about car innovation and ideas and production goes into a whole terrible direction. Not only talking about EU market. Electric motors are a sinn. They're not supposed to be engines for cars. Good and beautiful cars like in the pictures you've sent are forbidden to reproduce due to european standards for new cars. I don't dislike SUVs or other designs. What i dislike is a ton of unnecessary electrical motors in a car for stuff you don't need while driving. That's making me basically disliking every new car. But i still like the designs from some new cars. But since i know how bad they are assembled as i've worked a short time as a "bodywork specialist", i generally dislike them due to this and also because of the lot of unnecessary "features" and electrical stuff. In a new car, there's over a 100 electric motors from several parts of the car which can all get broken. This is just insane to think about

I agree. What isn't there can't break down. I think Brussels is pushing car lovers toward used cars. The simplest and most reliable cars will be a big hit.

I find it hard to give an opinion about the direction it goes with cars. For a car company to survive they have to go electric f.e.

Concepts like Butch reproduces for nfs4 show that car companies had often great and crazy ideas, which didn't make it to production because of the costs or government decisions or new safety regulations.

But all the limitations can also lead to new ways of thinking.

If the new way of thinking looks like a Volkswagen ID4 and vegan diet, I'll pass.

Why have coupes and convertibles practically disappeared from current car production? At dealerships, there are only SUVs with bug-like front ends and supercars that all look alike and are out of reach. For games, SUVs are love killers, and supercars pass through gamemodel and end up converted into most wanted with vulgar colors... sadness.

I don't dislike them.
However, if you would like to see me to modelise a Bertone Genesis, an Espace F1, a Delachapelle Parcours or an Ital Design Asgard, it is unlikely to happen.
And about the cybertruck, there's no point in thinking about it, even though I could do it with my left foot.

Madman_NFS's comment about handling makes me revisit the Carp.txt file for the Proxima. I'll take this opportunity to also adjust the Oxia, which will also get an update, with additional mirrors and more visible door contours in 3D.
