What things got kinda scattered? Invisible wall (crash into nothing) basically means polygon flags, wall collision detection flag, extra object collision detection and maybe Poly VRoad, your separated track polygons shouldn't result into an invisible wall actually

Look at the picture and all the polies that turned white. The polygon flags are exactly the same as in the first picture.

Jim, since we got the great achievement to edit global objects, what about light/effect and sound sources linked to them? The train on Kindiak Park for example had a headlight and smoke generator if I recall correctly. Is it possible to edit/add/remove this in T3ED and I just don't find where or is it not possible yet?

After a bit of modeling and testing, I ran into an invisible wall when changing from the track to the promenades. Turns out, after checking the vroad bitmap mode, things got kinda scattered when I added the second parallel segment with more polygons. Too bad.

That fix was so quick, you better watch out not getting a speeding ticket from the NFS Cops  ;)

The editing option to rotate polygons allows to build blocks with completely divided segments (multiply polygon in one direction, pull away from source, build parallel driveway, rotate intermediate polygon, delete it). They are both driveable, the V-Road does apparently not change from it, the game seemingly works fine.
Since you added an option to paste a copied track block as object, do you think it would be possible to paste a copied track block as scenery polygons, as addition to an existing selected or specified block?
For the track I sent you I made a bit of butchering to get two entirely different paths, both with a v-road, but that's not entirely elegant and gave me a headache while making it. .So if you had the option to build parallel roads simply by pasting a new track segment to an existing block, it would allow more designing flexibility and perhaps be less of an error source.

Hey, JimD!
I'm trying to raytrace the shadows on a track I'm preparing, however, the raytracer won't allow me to put the actual amount of blocks and do it for the entire track at once because it exceeds 255. Is there a chance to fix this? The raytracer works fine when I only select a partition of blocks.

Hey, Jim! It's been a while, it's great to know you are still developing stuff. It may have taken a global pandemic, but hell yeah, the phone boxes have been discovered! :D

You can get this done by editing Replay files I think. There's a replay editor out there with which you can change the amount of opponents to race / pursuit with.

Make sure you have the lastet T3ED version by JimD and that it was actually started in the program infos. I had some trouble with new functions because and old program version was loaded although I had a different version assigned to open .frd files.
I used the virtual road egde flag thing and moved the v-road points a bit, that helped me a lot with the porsche leipzig track - i even managed to get the bus-stop chicane to work like that!

Paul, have you ever informed yourself about the government of the DDR and what the whole system including the executives stood for? Seeing your cop cars from a dictatorship state makes me vomit. Would you also make german cop cars from the 30's? It's a shame, really. The DDR is dead and it's good that way. It's good that 41 years of suppression came to an end in 1990. Inform yourself about how the inhabitants of the DDR were treated by their government, the StaSi and the VoPos. How lots of people have suffered. How people were shot for trying to escape from that communist crap dictatorship state. And you are bringing that back up as "nostalgia" - really?!

So I just found this thread after posting the news.. i'm quite sad to hear that. Fortunately, Saki has left something that will not die - his music.

Frank'n'Further.. that name rings a bell.. that film was a gloriously funny pile of.
Anyways, there is no need for having secrets - Unpublished addons usually have the reason that the original authors don't feel comfortable with things. In case of the 933 Atlantica police department, what I did was just a 20 minute mashup of the Atlantica PD vehicle design and Nils's 993, which was lacking so many important details he takes focus on that he didn't want to have it published - which is absolutely okay for me because I also hardly ever allow modifications of my addons to be published.

The tracks in those banners are certainly nice, yet unfinished and i'm not the author of those either. I was in the lucky position to get beta versions for tests and some screenshots but again, it's the authors decision and in that case I also completely agree with it because I never release unfinished addons either and that's why there is never going to be a beta version of a Team RSR car.

I wrote to him also about possibility adding segmented tracks from NFS1. Cooya! I change my vote to I can't donate. I made many tracks for NFS4 for free. If he want make this modern patch for money ok, his choice.

I think you didn't quite get the point why he needs (notice: "needs", not "charges") money for this at all.
