Title: Listen the community
Post by: The Audi Guy on Jul 07, 2019, 12:20 PM
since nfscars.net died, I saw as an option to migrate to nfsaddons.
but this site is the same as nfscars, it SEEMS that they will not listen to the community.
I enter the suggestions / feedback forum and is practically dead, Aj_lethal made a post about '' my files manager '' in 2010, nine years and nothing seems to change.
you have no control over what you upload, if you have to edit something you did wrong, then you fuck.
the color palette does not combine, the spaces are badly ordered.

in conclusion, if the moderators do not listen to the community, and the owner of the site, the modders are going to get tired and they will not upload anything, as happened with porsche4ever who better made his own blog.

Of course the Site Suggestions/Feedback is gonna be "empty" ,because everyone is on General NFS,Projects or somewhere else.
Yes,mod uploading is kinda scary thingy,if you write or post something wrong, you might want to ask a mod to fix it,and it takes a while. So maybe other moderators would be nice. Not of course saying it's needed but if everyone [for example] is on a vacation [Mike don't hate me for this pls] then it is what it is. But yah, permission to edit your description would be great.
About color palettes,i have no clue what you are talking about.

Well, like i said, there are a few moderators and an admin, who are online ngl every day. About getting tired and not uploading, that's a whole different story about that. And P4E stopped modding and it's a blog, not a huge online site for nfs crazies :D

You must be new here since the site got through a redesign a few months ago. And in fact, there's a thread regarding the new design feedback here. (http://"https://www.nfsaddons.com/forums//index.php/topic,1985.0.html")

you have no control over what you upload, if you have to edit something you did wrong, then you fuck.
You can PM either Mike or Remko to help you with such cases. I know an edit file feature is worked on, but IDK when it's going to be implemented.

in conclusion, if the moderators do not listen to the community, and the owner of the site, the modders are going to get tired and they will not upload anything, as happened with porsche4ever who better made his own blog.
Again, you must be new here. NFSAddons is a smaller yet active site and as long-time member of it's community I say this is the best NFS site as of today.

Editing your files is something I am working on, just want to make sure it is done properly. For the time being, feel free to post on discord or send me a message (I'm online all the time) and I will fix it up for you.

As for the color pallete and spaces... Not sure what you are referring to, but feedback is always welcome.

Our forums aren't that busy currently, but you could help spark some discussion.

We just had the 20 anniversary of the site, so something is being done right :)

FYI, you now have the ability to manage your addons, showroom and projects from the myaddons (https://www.nfsaddons.com/myaddons/) page, which is available in the menu bar when you are logged in, by clicking on the cog icon: (https://www.nfsaddons.com/images/myaddons_cogs.png)

This feature is in beta, so let me know if you find any issues using it
