There is no real reason for this. Hometown and Coutry Woods are areas like Virginia or Hazzard County that would actually realistically be a police car like Rosco's cop car

In the PS1 game of Hot Pursuit they got chocolate color 1990 Chevy Caprices with a SignalStat-Yankee-Dietz gumball lightbars and Atlantica has the Aussie style copcars. There is a cheat code to give the cops different vehicles but I can't remember it. You can also change their voices with cheats: Boston talk, French,Italian,German, and Spanish I think are the options.

Ideal you search with ZIP Archiv Name. Tracks are in Tracks folder.

Wish I knew all their names, Used to be (before Archive.org screwed up) I could just got to the site and click on them to find them, No download but it would show me the names Bla,bla.zip but now that don't even work) I found a long lost track in it I liked and was looking everywhere for, it's the first Russian track made (Russian Summit) :o ^-^ =D and I found some of the old Pursuit vehicles too..I'm still digging around in there to try to find THIS, The 100000 Porsche built and it was AutobahnPolizei Stuttgart..I used to have it on my old 80 GB Seagate External drive, then it crashed..since then I've lost that car.

I mean that we have to download everything first, before we can search.
Yeah, This is why I named stuff by what it was when downloading, Archives have funny names sometimes..So you're gonna have to open up each vehicle and see what it is unless Mulder got screen shots in them, then you can just open the archive and see the pics for each..It's worth the digging though if he didn't, StreetDogs had so much great stuff.

Thank you so much, gonna look through this once I get off duty, They had the Emergency Rescue 51 truck and I was asked by one of our NFS Police H.Q. members if I had that and unfortunately they got rid of half the stuff before I got a chance to grab that. Did you get alot of Emergency vehicles and tracks?

Would it do even better if you increase OwnHeapLimit past 512, say 700 or more, maybe 1000 🤣?

I have found a few that are bad (corrupted, etc.) but testing most work fine  ^-^ =D. The bad ones were the same ones I tried to get using Archive.Org a while back.

I think some might be the same redownloaded multible times, I found one 3X with the same name and it's size is the same. I'm going to try to sort through these in my free time and decipher what is what, Like Pete mentioned to me file names on sites kept changing, My stuff at NFS Police H.Q. is kept simple, Rather than silly file names (werloig87yh490.zip),etc. I use plain English like for example: Illinois State Police 1995 Chevy Caprice.zip or it may have got typed IllinoisStatePolice1995ChevyCaprice.zip but either way I try to avoid the complicated file names they often have when I acquire files I use, I rename them based on what they are.

Like you to meet the Dacia 1300 by Sammjigga/Radu-Christian.

Gave it transparant windows, more realistic tyres and lisenceplates.

I'd like it, I can make the Romanian Militia

Worked on the normals, and gave it a sort of interior.

I couldn't calculate normals in fcefinish, it corrupted the car.fce and in Zmod I got an error when trying to save.

Turned out that the very highpoly windowframes caused the problem, so I tried to delete them in CarCad.

I could work on the normals after that, but I lost esential polies around the frontwindow frame.

So the car is unfinished but probably more attractive than the original.

PM me if you want it.

I'd like it. I can make the Romanian Militia car for the ColdWar mod and saves time since you gave it insides now.  =D

Is this a way to finally break the 16 lights limit and possibly even have lights in colors not before available..Like say Green?

So will this allow us to extract the models from NFS HotPursuit 2 and up? So many of Robin's stuff I'd like to see if I can convert to HighStakes and give Veg's Patch a good work out.

None of the cars I post here are original, I didn't keep the car.zip.So without readme.txt and the fact I modified/improved the cars with textures/parts from other cars, I can't upload these cars.
I think that since you put much work into it and give proper credits to the original authors and RESPECT for them making and converting them, it's totally fine to publish this as the work from all the previous authors AND you as a final editor and publisher. The fact alone that this car actually has been published loong ago at nfscars.net makes me think about your mindset. I even think that they would be glad if their work would have been improved and put together as one final addon. There should be very few people like Martin Leps in nfs4 modding community complaining about somebody editing his car and hex edit the car.viv so noone could edit it with NFS Wizard. But this is up to you.
Nonetheless i'd like to have that final DB5 version, too, if you will, and i thank you for sharing this
Sorry for my little rant :D Have a good one guys

I agree..It's the same with alot of stuff I posted at Police H.Q.

Some I either lost the details to or it had none to begin with (since I got stuff from 3D Models sites I use alot and some are either too lazy to make READ.Mes or don't know them selves where their files came from and just host them up.).

I think someone should just post lost cars and or files (if they have them) So much stuff is gone now and it's disappointing, Sites goaway due to the greed of hosters or files get removed over what amounts to BS in the end, I make it a point not to remove things I've posted unless I replace them later with better quality items.

I even decided (where possible) to give the drivers on the vehicles the appropriate uniforms right down to shoulder patching. Only thing can't be done is stripeing on the side of pants  ::).

So we all love Frank's reworks of Baardk's Plymouth Fury..Right? Well I noticed something with the side mirrors, They are a bit too scooped, They would be more flat coin shape, So I decided to replace them with more accurate shaped ones and also I decided to continue on with the MoPar Police fleet, I'm also adding Plymouth Volare since I have a nice base for it thanks to RenaFox on SketchFab. Anyway, Here's the first edit, USAF Security Police 1978 Dodge Monaco, Not sure if they actually used this car but I saw several Plymouth Volares (which I copied the paint scheme from).

I also learned (chatting with former CHP) somes does and don'ts here..CHP DID use Dodge Coronet and Monaco but NOT Plymouth Satelite and Fury (so stay away from those) LAPD and LA County S.O. used the Plymouths though so I will make the 1975-76 Plymouth Fury LAPD and LA County S.O. and Illinois State Police used the 1975-76 Plymouth Fury as well.
