Installation: create a C812 subdirectory in the data\cars directory

of your game and unzip the car.viv file there.

The .qfs file goes into \data\Feart\Vidwall

Features: Damage, 3D dash, animated driver, working top, vidwall slide.

All hail the Coffin Nose Cord! A car with such futuristic features like

pop-up headlights, front wheel drive (it was not really a sportscar),

and one of the first to get rid of the grille so common at the time.

This is the convertible version of the Phaeton (4-seater) model,

(there was also a 2-seater, coupes and sedans). Equipped with a

supercharger that raised the V8's HP up to 170 which was impressive for

the late 1930's. Strangely the Auburn Factory didn't like to publicize

this, fearing that the high power would have scared its target customer!

Too bad they didn't develop the car properly; the multiple

reliability problems asociated with a rushed production killed a

wondeful car, driving the last nail into the coffin of its parent

company, Auburn Automobile Co.

This is a B-class car. The performance is a bit exaggerated for a car

of its age, and doesn't exactly reflect a front-wheel-drive type handling

to the max; but what the heck, NFS4 is not front-drive friendly.
